I am extremely disappointed with Cool Today! They were supposed to come yesterday between 12-4. At 4:00, they still haven’t arrived, so I called them. They said they were going to check with dispatch. After a long hold, they came back on and said that the technician got held up at another job and they don’t know the ETA. At 6:00, they still haven’t arrived. So I called them again. After putting me on hold again, they said he is still tied up. He finally called at almost 7:00. He was not very nice and said he is just leaving his job, but he is about 1.5-2 hour away and if I still wanted to come or reschedule. I said I’m going to call the main number to reschedule. He said I didn’t have to do that and that he will do it for me. I said no…I want to talk with them myself. After hanging up, I called and rescheduled for today. The dispatcher said he will definitely be there by noon, maybe earlier because he is quick at jobs. At 12:15 today, I have not heard from him, so I called. Again, they said he got hung up at a job. I explained this is my second time in two days going through this, and I have to leave the house at 2pm for another appointment. She said she will make a note of that, and someone will call me. The technician called me at 12:50 and asked which plan I had and who’s supplying the sink. I told him they are. And then he says he is going to have to reschedule because their supply department closed at noon. What?!?! He said he didn’t have a choice because nobody told him. This is the last straw, Cool Today. This is the worst customer service I have ever received!!!!!!

We have been customers of Cool Today since we purchased our home in June 2021. Our HVAC equipment was originally installed in 2015. Cool Today would come out twice a year to inspect and maintain the system. Other than that, we have had to call 2 times for service for repair on the system. Both times Cool Today was absolutely terrific in their response . . . same day and professionally done. At the time of the last repair we learned that a new system would probably be needed within the next year or so since the service life of the existing system was 8-10 years typically. The new systems that would be mandated after January 1, 2025, would be more complex and more expensive than a new system before that date. So, we decided that now would be the best time to get a new system. We received quotes from multiple companies for various scenarios. We chose Cool Today due to our previous experiences with them and also due to the competitiveness of their quote and especially because of the lifetime warranty we would receive on our new system. The installation was scheduled for a Saturday morning and the crew (headed up by Paul Benham) showed up at 8:30 AM and was complete by 1:30 PM . . . and VERY professional and neatly done. We feel that we made an excellent choice by selecting Cool Today!
