They quoted $1,987 to replace a fan motor. I knew that was outrageous so I told them no thank you. The very first company I called after that was $1,065! So, I saved over $900 by making one phone call. Although Cool Today technically did not commit a crime, I feel what they did is criminal and at the very least, unethical. They are taking advantage of thousands of people in Florida that don't know any better and it is simply wrong. I have just enough experience to know what things should cost. I am very frustrated that they are still in business given my experience with them. By the way, the OEM part costs $400 without markup and it took the technician 20 minutes to change. The company I used made a nice profit but at least it didn't feel egregious. Cool Today seemed outrageous (and proved to be) and I am glad I shopped around.

My most recent service call was handled very well. Tech came early and because it was the third time to repair the same issue they did not charge a fee for the service.

Called their number to ask for help with getting the appropriate foam filter for my AC unit but was only met with No's and "I can't help with that". Zero attempt to figure out the request. The phone representative only offered to send a technician out despite me repeating it's just a question about the foam filter. Overall it was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had this year. All they had to do was put effort into helping a customer and they wouldn't even try!

Kim and her technician trainee Armando were great. They were very thorough and spent a lot of time doing the maintenance on our air conditioning system. We only needed one small repair ($59) and the maintenance was covered by our annual contract that has proven to be well worth buying over the past 15 years.

I appreciated their great effort today to see me on Siesta Key. We had a miscommunication about appointments (always get a text or email confirmation). But the plumber that arrived was experienced and understanding. We had to pull a pretty toilet that had a simple broken part but was not built for easy maintenance. They tried to explore a simpler solution, but in the end the older toilet needed to be pulled, part replaced and re set. I am keeping their number handy to help me maintain my condo.
