Reviewing my 6-month maintenance service. The maintenance rep was very thorough and explained clearly what steps and procedures he completed. Cool today has provided excellent service for my HVAC system for over five years. Would recommend them.

I`d put Zero stars instead of 1 star if there was such an option. I bought a house with new AC unit installed by previous owner, it worked perfectly. Signed up for regular maintenance with Cool Today. The unit stopped working shortly after the first maintenance. Had multiple visits from Cool Today coming up with all kinds of issues, that did not fix the problem, the AC was no longer operational. The most outrageous suggestion I got from Cool Today was that I needed to tear down the excellent metal ducts that were in perfect like new condition and had to replace them with new ones provided by Cool Today, the cost of work 15K+. This was the last straw that tipped me off, I called several expert inspectors to inspect my AC unit. The finding made by one of them was shocking - there was a hole in the coolant pipe, that could not appear there on its own, somebody had to physically poke the pipe, the coolant leaked out and evaporated that irreparable damage to the running AC. Nobody had access to or opened the AC, but Cool Today team during the maintenance. Besides the unit was shifted during the maintenance in a way that jammed the goffer and the air could not flow in the house no matter how hard the AC worked, with leaking coolant on top of that. These are just facts. It does not come to not enough knowledge, it comes down to alleged intentional damage of my property and unfair business practices, in my opinion. If I`d stayed with Cool Today and followed their advice they would have proceeded with the ducts work replacement, but the AC was irreparably broken at the time, so they would follow with AC replacement as well. I am honestly terrified that this company is out there after having dealt with them.

Lifetime warranty? Since last Sunday 12 calls, including the answering service, promises of call backs. Today, I was told that the part needed was at Johnstone, I offered to go pick it up and was told that the tech had to., but it could not be completed.this weekend due to staffing ! Now, no service til Monday... QA reached out to me, yesterday, and she was very kind and understanding. Unacceptable responses, total disregard for stated, " LIFETIME WARRANTY", @$12.5 K, spent on this unit, and three units in 15 years WHY ? If I could choose zero stars I would.
