I signed up for Cool Today's special A/C summer tuneup during a trip to Home Depot. They called me within 24 hours to set up an appointment. We scheduled a time 3 days out. The service tech called within the appointed time window to tell me he was on his way. The service tech was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He explained everything he was doing and why. Our system is 11 years old and close to the end of its life but still in decent shape. There was no hard sell to upgrade to a new unit. He told me what signs I should be looking for. I also signed up for their "Today Care Plan." I highly recommend you contact Cool Today for all your AC, Plumbing, and Electrical needs. I was impressed with how professional the ac people were. Came out same day took care of my issues no problems. Reason I did 2 stars was the plumber that came the following day refused to work on my bathroom and I mentioned the sink and tub wouldn’t drain. He said and I quote I can’t work in these conditions and tub and sink would be a little cleaner if they were able to drain. He just didn’t want to work. Was very disappointed. Found someone else for half the price same day that got it done in an hr. Was very pleased with them.

Francisco serviced our Lennox a/c. He flushed our drain, changed filter and checked compressor. Very polite and efficient. Cool Today is lucky to have such a great employee.

They quoted $1,987 to replace a fan motor. I knew that was outrageous so I told them no thank you. The very first company I called after that was $1,065! So, I saved over $900 by making one phone call. Although Cool Today technically did not commit a crime, I feel what they did is criminal and at the very least, unethical. They are taking advantage of thousands of people in Florida that don't know any better and it is simply wrong. I have just enough experience to know what things should cost. I am very frustrated that they are still in business given my experience with them. By the way, the OEM part costs $400 without markup and it took the technician 20 minutes to change. The company I used made a nice profit but at least it didn't feel egregious. Cool Today seemed outrageous (and proved to be) and I am glad I shopped around.

We’ve never had a bad experience with CoolToday. Everyone from the people on the phone to the techs that come into our home - they’re kind, knowledgeable, and really good at their jobs. We just had a new vent installed and Cody, Randy, and Chris were great! They kept us in the loop of what they were doing and made sure to double check things before cutting any holes in the ceiling. They answered all of our questions and were super personable. Well done to everyone who works to make this company what it is! I’m continually impressed!
