We have been customers of Cool Today since we purchased our home in June 2021. Our HVAC equipment was originally installed in 2015. Cool Today would come out twice a year to inspect and maintain the system. Other than that, we have had to call 2 times for service for repair on the system. Both times Cool Today was absolutely terrific in their response . . . same day and professionally done. At the time of the last repair we learned that a new system would probably be needed within the next year or so since the service life of the existing system was 8-10 years typically. The new systems that would be mandated after January 1, 2025, would be more complex and more expensive than a new system before that date. So, we decided that now would be the best time to get a new system. We received quotes from multiple companies for various scenarios. We chose Cool Today due to our previous experiences with them and also due to the competitiveness of their quote and especially because of the lifetime warranty we would receive on our new system. The installation was scheduled for a Saturday morning and the crew (headed up by Paul Benham) showed up at 8:30 AM and was complete by 1:30 PM . . . and VERY professional and neatly done. We feel that we made an excellent choice by selecting Cool Today!

Serviceman "Sam" was super knowledgeable and efficient. He did a thorough inspection and assessment and provided quality recommendations. My issue, 4 vs 5 stars, is with the time window for service. I was booked for 8 to noon. At 11:45am I still hadn't received a heads-up time so I sent a text to the scheduler. I got a call from Sam shortly after noon when he was only a couple minutes away. We had a very professional, thorough and very personable maintenance visit from Josh. It was such a great experience that I am considering switching to his company when our present maintenance contract is up for renewal this year. We have lived in Sarasota for over 30 years and for most of those years have had a maintenance service contract on our AC units. Our experience has been that this type of service agreement has saved us not only money but provided peace of mind knowing we have a reputable company to maintain our units. I am sure the regular service visits extended the lives of our various heating and cooling units. Florida climate is brutal to AC systems and having them maintained properly is essential to keeping them operating efficiently and extending the unit’s life. Josh told me he enjoys working for this company and with his team members. He highly praised management and felt he has found his calling working in the heating and cooling industry. Companies that nurture their employees provide the best services I have found. Warren Buffet attributes the success of companies to great customer service and is the most important factor to a company’s success. I think Josh is an employee helping his company to achieve and maintain its success.
