I manage several vacation rental properties that were severely impacted by hurricane Helene. Two out of five properties in the same complex had no air conditioning. One of them had a service contract with Cool Today, I called them earlier in the morning and they sent a technician out the same day. The other property that was having an AC issue had a different company, i contacted them and they sent a technician out as well. lThey told me that the whole system needed to be replaced to the tune of about $8000. When Omar came from Cool Today to service the rental property they had the cool Today maintenance contract, i asked him if he would please give me a second opinion. He literally fixed the AC unit for a little over $1000. I’m so grateful to Cool Today and Omar.

I wouldn't post a review, but Cool Today keeps pushing. CURRENT PROBLEM, in my daughter's condo. On the pro side, I was able to get a service call promptly to address a leaking HVAC unit. On the con side, eight days later I have to schedule another service call because the unit is pushing warm air. Prompt scheduling again, but two calls in less than two weeks. LAST REVIEW, which didn't post. HVAC maintenance in my house. Cool Today keep sbugging me for a review. Well, here it is. I find the technicians competent and polite. The scheduling, on the other hand, is a nightmare. I believe the company is understaffed. I got a maintenance appointment, arranged to be home during a 4 hour window--and in the middle I got a call that the tech had an emergency and couldn't come. No one else could? Cool Today promised that I wouldn't be cut off again. I rescheduled, arranged to be home during a 12-6 window, and at 5:55pm the tech showed up for a service that takes about an hour and a half. What? I had dinner plans. So we rescheduled again, a 4 hour window; the tech promised I'd be first. Again, 5 minutes before the window closed, Cool Today showed up. I spent about 15 hours waiting for this call.

The plumbing tech looked dirty and unkempt. The feeling he gave out was - just uncomfortable and was flat out weird. He could not do the repair because he was not strong enough to move the washing machine to get to the drain. He had to leave without making any repairs. What a waste of time. I’ve used Cool Today before and never had tech like this weak, scruffy, little baby. I’m an elderly lady and I guess I will have to find a plumber who will actually help.

Update: Cool Today has done an excellent job fixing these issues. They have been diligent and earnest in their efforts. Because of their genuine concern and effectiveness correcting the issues, I am changing my review rating to 5 stars. Well done Cool Today! We've had a code 22 on and off since the install November 2024. Raphael Ramirez, a service technician, came today to do a maintenance check. He got a code 22 just like we have been getting since the install. Raphael said a code 22 must be corrected, since it's an error code there is something wrong. I told him I've called in several times to get it fixed but to avail. Also, the hurricane pad cracked shortly after install and the rear inside unit has had a cracked hinge since the install. Still waiting to get everything fixed after a year! How much longer must I wait??

Technician was fast, and explained what he did for the service. Made upgrade recommendations but wasn’t over bearing. Said if we had any issues to call and they would take care of it.
