Ronnie Barnes (technician) did a 5-star job diagnosing and locating a refrigerant leak that caused our 3-year old Lennox AC system to shut down, but I was not amused to find out that it will cost over $2,000 to replace the valve that is leaking refrigerant.

Ronnie, our technician, was absolutely brilliant. He diagnosed the issue within seconds — it turned out to be the only thing we hadn’t already tried troubleshooting. Beyond fixing the immediate problem, he also took the time to check for any other potential issues, and thankfully everything else was in great shape. Ronnie was polite, personable, and extremely knowledgeable. This was our first time using this company, and thanks to him, we’ll definitely be calling them again. Big thanks to Ronnie — you’re the man!

I retired from Carrier Corporation after 40 years of service and senior management, overseeing over 7,000 dealers and 50 wholly owned and independent distributors. The service we received from Cool Today Cooling exceeded anything I have seen anywhere in the USA or internationally. Ronnie was our tech. My wife and I had altitude sickness in Colorado at Loveland Pass. We flew on oxygen 24/7 back to Bradenton yesterday. We called Cool Today at 4 pm In Bradenton yesterday. Ronnie came at 5 pm on a Saturday after a 14-hour shift. Our AC airhandler was down, and the house was a humid 92. We were sure it was back to the hospital. Ronnie diagnosed a bad motor, found one an hour away, picked it up, and had our home cooling by 10 pm. I cannot thank Cool Today and, particularly Ronnie for outstanding service. My wife said to send a big heart from her!

We LOVE Cool Today! We had a service plan with Badger Bob. Our system was leaking water. A technician “supposedly” repaired the leak and we went out for the afternoon ( it was a Friday) When we returned home, we realized that the system was not working, and it was hot! . We called to have a the tech return , and were told by Badger Bobs that we would have to wait until Monday which we felt was outrageous considering we had a service plan! We were desperate to get our AC fixed!! We called Cool Today at 8 pm, and although we were not a customer, they had a tech at our house within the hour! Ronnie was amazing! Even though it was late at night, he was polite and efficient! He had our AC back working within 10 minutes! We signed a maintenance contract before he left! Thank you Cool Today!!

I had a very positive experience with my A/C service technician this week. Ronnie is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. He came out for a repair on Monday and found that we needed a new part. He was able to get the unit working while we waited for the part. He came back a few days later, repaired the unit and then found some other issues that needed attention and he quickly and confidently took care of it. Thanks Ronnie
