I decided to walk into Cool Today after seeing those greenish Cool Today trucks everywhere in Sarasota to discuss updating my heating and air conditioning system. I was met by Jimmy Mullen who explained his background with the company and company business model. Jimmy answered all my questions so we agreed for him to come to my home to perform a free energy audit and make a recommendation on a heating system. I choose the energy Star Rated 3.5 Ton Rheem/Ruud 2 stage heat pump. The next day, the installer Paul called me and provided an arrival time to begin the installation. The company actually had sent a link to me so that I could track where Paul was as he made his way to my home. Paul told me that had discussed the work with Jimmy the prior afternoon and Paul discussed the work to be done clearly with me in a very professional manner. I also found Paul to be very knowledgeable of what needed to be done. Right after, Paul and his coworker got busy removing the 8 year old gas furnace and the outside air conditioner. I asked Paul for an approximate time to complete the installation. He estimated around 03:30pm including the installation and setup of a new WI-FI thermostat. The installation is better than what I expected and Paul and his coworker completed the work at 03:25pm….. very impressive. The installation is very clean looking, with no exposed wires (see photos). Overall, I am very happy with the cost of the equipment and the professional installation. The Guarantee provided by Cool Today is far and above any guarantee I have ever read. Thanks to Jimmy, Paul, his coworker, and the staff at Cool Today for making the installation go smoothly.

Cool Today installed a new AC system for us recently. Chris in sales is very knowledgeble and helpful he responded to several questions after initial visit. Paul, who led the installation with another technician was super skilled. We appreciated the automated text system to track their arrival time, with photo, and the covering they put all through our house and up the stairs to protect flooring. Paul also crawled in our attic to repair a crack in the discharge pipe! Overall Cool Today made us feel confident about our purchase. One star deducted for pretentious (and annoying) post-purchase rating request texts and emails faking the company president's name. Otherwise, five stars.

Paul and Tyler were extremely professional and friendly. The installation was smooth and efficient. They made sure everything was spotless before they left. Our 14yr old unit was in rough condition and after getting a few different quotes to have it fixed we decided getting a new unit would be a better investment. Mitchell Blasko was our comfort advisor and was extremely knowledgeable and understanding. From the first contact to insulation, I have been neyond pleased. The salesman Rob was excellent. Very thorough and professional. Answered every question and gave us answers to questions I didn’t know to ask. Extremely impressed over the past 24 hours. Cool Today specialist Jimmy arrived and evaluated the existing system and listened to what we were looking for. We signed the sales agreement at 5:30pm Thursday and had a new 5 ton AC installed in less than 24hours. Installation looks great and looking forward to the performance over the many years to come. From sales to final install, Cool Today was top notch. Scott, Paul, and Fred were all awesome. Very punctual, professional and efficient. I can't say enough good things about my experience. Cool Today far exceeded my expectations. Communication was excellent and that is a huge thing. They are now my go-to A/C company and I will certainly call them for plumbing or electrical also. I wish them great success. UPDATE: Been a few years almost and the system is working great. Had another routine maintenance service done today and communication and punctuality was fantastic. UPDATE: AC went off late last night. Called and a service tech Vince was at the house first thing this morning. Determined it was a clogged float switch for the AC drain. MUCH relieved as it was a quick fix. Vince changed out the 2 UV bulbs and did a full system check. He’s knowledgeable and a genuinely nice guy, which is a plus today! A BIG THANK YOU to the Cool Today TEAM for getting us up and running so quickly!!!! UPDATE: Re the AC Condenser The unit went on the fritz yesterday. Made the call to Cool Today. Bryan was at the house by 8:30p and determined the unit was toast. He reached out to the office and this morning @ 9a the install team of Paul and Carlos were here to swap out the unit. THATS AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! (UPDATE: (re Ductwork) Ivan and Victor worked on our ducting issues to resolve an air flow problem we were having in one area of the house. We were impressed that their boss Tom came out to the job to review the scope of work with them. We asked them to access the attic from the garage only and not from the bedroom area due to allergies with dust and it was no problem. They were very accommodating. While we couldn’t see they’re work in the attic what we did see was how neat they were in the prep area in the garage. At the end of the job they went around the house to check the airflow and did a checkup/modification to the air flow from the AC unit increasing the fan speed. Not an easy job but they worked very well together as a team. Thank you

We have been customers of Cool Today since we purchased our home in June 2021. Our HVAC equipment was originally installed in 2015. Cool Today would come out twice a year to inspect and maintain the system. Other than that, we have had to call 2 times for service for repair on the system. Both times Cool Today was absolutely terrific in their response . . . same day and professionally done. At the time of the last repair we learned that a new system would probably be needed within the next year or so since the service life of the existing system was 8-10 years typically. The new systems that would be mandated after January 1, 2025, would be more complex and more expensive than a new system before that date. So, we decided that now would be the best time to get a new system. We received quotes from multiple companies for various scenarios. We chose Cool Today due to our previous experiences with them and also due to the competitiveness of their quote and especially because of the lifetime warranty we would receive on our new system. The installation was scheduled for a Saturday morning and the crew (headed up by Paul Benham) showed up at 8:30 AM and was complete by 1:30 PM . . . and VERY professional and neatly done. We feel that we made an excellent choice by selecting Cool Today!
