Determined condensate line was blocked. Cleared line. Probably 15 minutes of work plus travel. In future condo meet will clear line for FREE. Cool Today has done good deals such as a maintenance contract but this simple fix and amount of time was far less time consuming than the 2 annual PM inspections which are at a lower cost in total for two annually. With this service call problem fixed but at seemingly way high charge. Service quality is high - cost extreme

Chris, sales rep professional, knowledgeable, polite. We opted for the Carrier Infinity variable inverter system. Pricy but worth it for its advanced design, economical performance and quiet operation. Installation went well, neat, clean and professional. Only difficulty, we were told that this system was equipped with a 4” pleated filter and a pull-out drawer. Important because we needed enhanced filtration for health reasons. Although available, our system was equipped only with a 3/4” merv 8 filter which is less filtration than our old unit. Instead of retrofitting the present unit to accommodate a 4” filter, our hope is that CoolToday would install UV and electrostatic elements in the a/h to give us better filtering.

Update 1/1/26: Increasing to 4 stars. Latest service call was excellent. Juan was very polite, knowledgeable and helpful with his advice. He completed the maintenance work professionally. Very satisfied. July 2025: In general I've been happy with Cool Today, but it's a large company so each time we often have a different technician. This time, the technician was, as usual, very polite and nice but I was a bit disappointed in that he reinstalled the lattice to the AC unit crooked and incomplete to where I had to add 4 additional screws to properly secure it. Plus, I did not receive a detailed evaluation of the AC status like I did in the past. Finally, my wife heard him on the call asking for further instructions on how to make the repair that he said I needed. Not exactly a confidence builder.

The gentleman that came today was very professional very thorough with his work overall and explained everything in great detail. Yes, I would recommend them. But as far as pricing goes, I can’t say I haven’t really priced other places out yet

Service was to check all my waterpipes etc. Service person was not able to repair my leaking tub because he loaned his tool to another technician. I thought I would receive a referral or quote to repair noted issues but I did not.

The technician who did the job for the maintenance, cleaning and inspection did a good job. However, I was expecting to pay $59.00 for this service, but ending up paying $597.00 to clean the evaporator coils which I felt was excessive. I don't blame the technician who was just doing his job. So with replacing the capacitor which was going bad, the final cost was $828.00. That's the reason for the 4 stars.

Cool Today installed a new AC system for us recently. Chris in sales is very knowledgeble and helpful he responded to several questions after initial visit. Paul, who led the installation with another technician was super skilled. We appreciated the automated text system to track their arrival time, with photo, and the covering they put all through our house and up the stairs to protect flooring. Paul also crawled in our attic to repair a crack in the discharge pipe! Overall Cool Today made us feel confident about our purchase. One star deducted for pretentious (and annoying) post-purchase rating request texts and emails faking the company president's name. Otherwise, five stars.

Fast arrived and act professionally. Initially convinced us to buy "top of the line" LENNOX, which failed in less than 3 years. Part is not available locally, and labor cost is $2400 to replace. Now 87F inside the house and wait time for the part - 8 days! Update: got a call from Manager name Zak. Nice person, He apologized for inconvenience lowering labor cost to $1900. Bumping rating up from 2 stars to 4.

I’ve been a long term customer and always dealt with prompt and courteous professionals; knowledgeable and experienced service technicians. Donald did a great job resolving my A/C issue. As far as regular A/C maintenance, performed by different/maintenance techs who are doing their best and work had, I noticed that some of them need to be better exposed to more/different filtration equipment that’s installed in the field.

Adam was great. Very informative and thorough. Inspected and cleaned the outside unit. Adjusted blower speed to decrease humidity and added 2.5 lbs of refrigerant. Over $900 including maintenance. Don't know where that stands in terms of cost.

Our technician Steve Nadon was professional and courteous. He did an excellent job in correcting the issue and explaining the mechanics involved in detail. Happy with the work. The only disappointment is that Cool Today no longer provides the 4 hour window. This was a very important consideration for my wife and myself. Other than that, good work by Steve.

I am grateful that he did not try and sell me a water softener. I am sure there are better ones, but mine is just 1 months old.

Cool Today took care of our plumbing needs. Although it was pricey due to the emergency nature of the problem, the plumber put on shoe booties so as not to track dirt into the house, he was quick and professional. They are a solid company.

Prices are high: $440 to unclog (snake) the main toilet and snake the master bath sink from hair. It took all of 20-25 min from the time he started to the time he was done working. He came in at 3:15, figured out the issues, and did the work needed. He took a few minutes to take my payment, defended the high price, and left at 3:45. He was here half an hour, did excellent work and was very pleasant, but WOW, that was a lot of money for half an hour of his time, his skill, and I needed NO supplies. However, I am relieved that it’s resolved.

Your tech showed up on time and got the toilet working, but I didn't appreciate him trying to sell me a new toilet. The one he just worked on is only a few months old! He made a point to tell me that our renters did not plug the toilet and the reason that we had a problem was because our toilet wasn't powerful enough. He tried to upsell me to a pressure assist toilet like in a public restroom, instead of a gravity toilet like 99% of the toilets in people's houses in America. Other than that they did a good job and the price was reasonable.

A very professional service man arrived and did what he was scheduled to do. Only one problem… he was here at 9:30 am. My window was between 12 and 4 pm. I have my email confirming the time window as well . Glad I was home. I have to have a gas plumber again after my appliance is delivered. Hope it doesn’t happen again. Otherwise I am very happy with the service.

The first time we called to book an appointment over the phone the technician was prompt courteous and very professional. Called us thirty minutes before, the whole nine yards… So much so that we signed up for their whole home maintenance plan, five stars… no questions right? Well today I lowered my rating one star because I booked a maintenance appointment from their email about an electrical issue we had. 9-12 show up time… I waited until the last 30 minutes with no phone call… so I called in the operator told me sorry they were in a team meeting all morning and are just getting out. They have one other appointment before you. Might be an hour or two. Needless to say I was disappointed that nobody called to tell me any of this as I could have been doing errands or actual work. If they nines they had a team meeting they should have called the day before and notified all am appointments. But now I might have someone show up in the next three hour window…. If they don’t trust me I’ll update this review to a whole new star level. What’s the expression… not mad just disappointed with the lack of communication for their “valued clients”

Serviceman "Sam" was super knowledgeable and efficient. He did a thorough inspection and assessment and provided quality recommendations. My issue, 4 vs 5 stars, is with the time window for service. I was booked for 8 to noon. At 11:45am I still hadn't received a heads-up time so I sent a text to the scheduler. I got a call from Sam shortly after noon when he was only a couple minutes away. My only disappointment with this service experience was not having my regularly specified technician perform my servicing. She had been my tech for about 10 to 12 years. But, the gentleman who came was very nice, professional, and thorough in his inspection. As a senior citizen, I prefer the same tech each time so I know who is coming. For so long I had requested the same tech. Will evaluate this situation when my service contract is up for renewal. Have been an N&M/Cool Today customer for 24 years.
