Fortunately, I decided to shop for a new heat pump before the old one died, so I had a chance to spend some time talking with companies, understanding what they offered, and making an informed decision rather than a sweaty, rushed one. I wound up choosing Cool Today, and it worked out well. I got a high-efficiency system at a great price, 0% financing for 60 months, and an additional supply vent in our bedroom on the south side of the house, which has traditionally been warmer than the rest of the house and isn't any more. The sales rep was knowledgeable, his support person was responsive and helpful, and the guys who did the install were competent, neat and friendly.

tech came before time but didnot perform job correctly.it was told 60 point or 80 point inspection, I asked why there is water drops under a/c units. He didnot resolve issue and said it may be duct issue and need to call again for 2nd opinion and when I called back at office it was told it is service call and I have to pay $89. So I have called you guys to have a/c tune up and price has reduced to $29. I have no issue in my a/c it works great but when I noticed the water under tray in a/c unit he did not diagnose isssue. When person from Home depot told about you and it was all on paper only. tech did not gave me invoice, I have to call your office to request to send it to me. It was not worth to spend this money at all.

This is one of these days that was bate and switch. Gavin was here the day before checked everything and said everything was OK even our coolant system. He checked everything but this guy today said we were low on Freon and wanted us to charge us $2900 for a new A coil Really disappointed with this company now and charge is over $450. This company is gonna be on our do not call. Watch out for these people I just got the report from elite Air Conditioning labor the day before and I checked the Freon and there was nothing wrong with it. That was before cool today so I was scammed if you do go with this company, be very careful they might take you for everything you have

Called yesterday for an appointment and they were able to get me in today. Had Evan as the tech. Very thorough explaining what our system needed. Checked everything out and installed an ultra violet light to combat residue buildup and a connector that was rusted out. Very pleased with the service. I have been a customer for a couple of years now.

In May of 2020 I purchased a complete HVAC system from and installed by Cool Today. To date there have been over 10 failures including 2 condenser fans, one compressor and that ones appears to have failed again. Not only does the system fail over and over again they seem to always take multiple days to even come look at the unit and them inform us it will be 3 to 10 days longer to get the part that has failed, so much for the 24/7 service they claim to have. They really need to learn what real customer service looks like. Obviously I do not recommend this company unfortunately there is not a zero star rating. Additional note don’t try to contact a true customer service person as you will be told they are not available and tell you they will have someone call you back lol don’t hold your breath. By the way the system has a 10 year parts and labor warranty. Not holding my breath it will last that long as it grenades about every 6 to 8 months.

Now when you call it’s general call center customer service not specific to commercial and new people answering calls are not experienced enough to handle calls and ask a million questions! Please take care of your commercial customers and bring back direct call commercial department I love Lonnie and Nicole and want them back ! . They are familiar with our accounts and make it easier when you have multiple buildings.

Had them come out on a Sunday emergency call because my AC maintenance was running but not cooling. The tech came out at appx. 89 PM and when she was attempting to tech the capacitor, she noticed that a wire had become separated and burned. She fixed it within minutes and the house started cooling again. We are extremely happy with the service provided by this company, and are highly recommended

I signed up for the Home Depot tune up special only to have the appointment canceled by Cool Today after coordinating the date and time with my tenant. I was given another date but prior to this date, my tenant requested an earlier appointment because of a potential cooling issue. Ahmad came over and I was charged 10 times the amount I was quoted. I paid for an overpriced drain flush which would have been prevented if they had not canceled on me the first time. Ahmad said he would call us back to resolve this but never did. I do not recommend this company. ADDENDUM: 4 months later the same AC unit stopped working. I called about the 1 year warranty on workmanship which was emailed to me 4 months ago with the invoice. They looked up my account and stated that there is no warranty to cover this even though it was emailed to me. The person on the phone stated that she was not aware of this warranty and to email it to her. Next thing I know I receive an email from them of the same invoice with the same warranty attached on the third page that was emailed to me 4 months ago. Otherwise, still no response so I ended up calling another company. Shame on Home Depot for working with this company.

Miguel Torres came to check out our 9month old water heater because we are not receiving consistent hot water in our master bath. He diagnosed the problem as either the pump that gets the water upstairs from the garage or a mixing valve for the shower. We decided to wait a bit longer to monitor the situation. The pump is 8 years old so may have lived its life. Miguel was a big help and gave us quotes for the time when repairs are necessary. Because the hot water heater is under warranty we did not have to pay.

Every service I’ve had over the years has been absolute professionalism with high level technicians who dress in company uniform and behave accordingly-always. You get what you pay for, this company is more expensive than others, however well worth the peace of mind they bring.

Jimmy also, at my request, programmed my thermostat so I can control the system in my smartphone from anywhere, a big improvement from before. He asked if I had any questions or concerns with the system, and I said we’re pleased with Cool Today.

Dean Nguyen called to tell me he had an opening earlier in the day. He arrived exactly when he said he would come and spent some time really looking at our two air-conditioning systems to make sure that they were running properly. He changed the filters and also unclogged a blockage we had in one discharge pipe because the water had been backing up. He gave me a lot of good advice on how to maintain the air conditioning units and made the whole experience a pleasant one. And it was all preventative maintenance so it did not cost a cent today. Below is the chunk lodged in the discharge pipe.

Had no A/C as I left for work. Friend suggested I contact Cool Today. They have a great Customer Service department that got me scheduled for an appointment later that day. The technician, Kyle, called ahead to say he was on his way. He resolved the issue, had to replace a part, and then recommended I sign up for their annual service contract which saved me money and the peace of mind of having regular service for my A/C system. He was great and they are a professionally run company. They offer A/C, Plumbing and electrical repairs. They’re coming back this am to take care of an electrical issue. Prices are reasonable and they have great technicians. Friendly and polite.

I've never had a worse experience with a company in my life. I installed a $20,000 system and it started failing and having issues immediately. I had no air conditioning for almost 5 days even though they had the part in stock the whole time. I had to call them over and over just to get them to come out to fix the system. I've never dealt with managers who could care less about their jobs. Turns out they improperly installed it and they still haven't fully fixed it (and the month it ran when improperly installed caused a lot of wear on the system). No calls, no help from anyone. I'm sure I'll have to call them another half dozen times just to get this fixed however I'm planning to look into removing this system under their money back guarantee and have a professional A/C company put in a new one. They may be good for maintenance but DO NOT use CoolToday for any kind of installation services. Most of these Google reviews are for their maintenance services, go look at some other review sites and how low their scores are when most of the people posting got installation services.

Ronnie, our technician, was absolutely brilliant. He diagnosed the issue within seconds — it turned out to be the only thing we hadn’t already tried troubleshooting. Beyond fixing the immediate problem, he also took the time to check for any other potential issues, and thankfully everything else was in great shape.
