My recent appointment with Jordan Smith for an electrical inspection and ceiling fan installation was no exception! Jordan called me to tell me he is on his way over. He really made sure everything was done right. His attention to detail and pride in his work were super impressive. Thank you Jordan! I like that I can make one phone call to cool today for plumbing, A/C or electrical.

I wouldn't post a review, but Cool Today keeps pushing. CURRENT PROBLEM, in my daughter's condo. On the pro side, I was able to get a service call promptly to address a leaking HVAC unit. On the con side, eight days later I have to schedule another service call because the unit is pushing warm air. Prompt scheduling again, but two calls in less than two weeks. LAST REVIEW, which didn't post. HVAC maintenance in my house. Cool Today keep sbugging me for a review. Well, here it is. I find the technicians competent and polite. The scheduling, on the other hand, is a nightmare. I believe the company is understaffed. I got a maintenance appointment, arranged to be home during a 4 hour window--and in the middle I got a call that the tech had an emergency and couldn't come. No one else could? Cool Today promised that I wouldn't be cut off again. I rescheduled, arranged to be home during a 12-6 window, and at 5:55pm the tech showed up for a service that takes about an hour and a half. What? I had dinner plans. So we rescheduled again, a 4 hour window; the tech promised I'd be first. Again, 5 minutes before the window closed, Cool Today showed up. I spent about 15 hours waiting for this call.

Our A/C stopped working Sunday night. Cool Today had a wonderful woman tecnician out within an hour! Today we had a tecnician here to fix the coolant leak that she had discovered. It was estimated it would take 4 hours and he was done in less than 2!

Really disappointed, going on 36 hours with no update on when my compressor will be installed. This is a unit that was installed June 23 2025. No AC for 48 Hours. They got their money with a new install within a day, but a part under warranty is not a priority. Going on 72 hours, they haven't even reached out. Where are you Jeff?

I’ve had positive experiences with Cool Today in the past, but unfortunately my recent service with Plumbing Today was extremely disappointing. Yesterday morning I woke up to find my house had no water pressure and called right away. They scheduled me between 12–4pm, but at 4 o’clock the technician called to say he was still in Bradenton. On the phone he told me he probably couldn’t help because I’m on a well system, and that he didn’t carry the necessary parts. When he did arrive, he only spent about 15 minutes before telling me there was nothing he could do and suggested I call the original pump installer—leaving my family with no running water overnight. What made this worse is that he didn’t troubleshoot basic possibilities. For example, he never tried bypassing the GFCI with an extension cord. I did this myself as soon as he left and immediately discovered the problem. He also couldn’t confirm if my aerator or GFCI was the issue. I was left feeling that Plumbing Today simply didn’t care about resolving my urgent problem. The lack of concern and follow-through was frustrating and left us without running water for another night. I hope this feedback helps others understand that, at least in my case, Plumbing Today was not equipped or willing to provide meaningful support

The experience with Cool Today was 5-star. Phil who came out for the estimate to replace the AC was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We felt comfortable with the estimate and the guarantee of no additional charges. This was complete replacement that entailed removing a pancake air handler unit in a tight attic space and moving it to an adjacent linen closet requiring rerouting of some of the ducting. I had an estimate before he left the property. The installer was David along with another worker. They were able to work through some challenges removing the old air handler to get to the wiring and piping. They arrived at 8:30 AM and were done around 3:30 PM. They were professional and courteous and left the property clean when they left. These guys are pros and it shows. The new unit is working great.

Not good, said they would call nite before, didnt. Said theyd call 30-45 min ahead..called 20 min ahead then late. Took forever, appeared as though tech was new, didnt know how to do. Finally decided a part needed replacing and in the mean time, took 20 to go give another tech a part! Was very slow, took almost 3 hrs. Get training elsewhere with another tech or having to call in. Tech ended up apologizing..

I’ve had my a/c system that Cool Today installed about 3-1/2yrs. (Installed 2/24/22) Paid about $12k and understood that it had a 10yr warranty. Within 6mos. the condenser coil needed to be replaced and they took care of it quickly. Since then they had come out a couple of times and were quick to get the system working. So for couple years I had subscribed to their maintenance, until about a month ago (7/28/25) when I had trouble with the system and they couldn’t make it out for a day to get the system working. That day happened to be one of the hottest days and I had to make other arrangements to get the system cooling as I couldn’t wait. Turned out to be the capacitor for the condensing unit. So I decided to cancel my subscription. Now a month later (8/29/25) the air handler blower motor failed. I called them on the morning of and a technician was able to be there in the afternoon. After the technician arrived and I had explained to him what the system was doing, he explained to me that because I had canceled my subscription for maintenance that I had no more warranty, unless I resubscribed for the maintenance contract that they would then only charge me half price ($608). Saying that because in the fine print of the original sale of the new unit states that I must have a maintenance contract with them. Now when I purchased the unit, I don’t recall the salesman telling me anything about the necessary agreement and I didn’t read the fine print, but not everyone reads all the fine details. So I resubsribed, as to not have to pay about $1200. The technicians and other employees have been great, but I don’t feel that a warranty should be based on a maintenance agreement. I can change my own filters and keep the condensation drain line clean. If you buy a new car from a dealer you aren’t required to pay for a maintenance agreement to have warranty. The parts that have failed in my system are not your typical maintenance items. Just feel like it’s a way to get more money out of consumers, like you’re still renting the system even after already paying for it. Sorry for the long winded review, but this is what I have experienced.

I don’t leave a lot of negative reviews because I think everybody has good and bad days however… I bought a new house and figured I’d have cool today come out since There was some water pooling on my 1st floor unit. They did come out quickly and did a basic cleaning of the drip lines. Their “Technician” Said our upstairs unit is 12 years old, and low on coolant. He said it’s working now, but will probably stop working within the month. He said these units are so old that doing that process might actually break them so he recommended 2 new units to the tune of 16K. I just Purchased this home that passed inspection so I very surprised about that recommendation. A few days after the technician came out , all of a sudden my capacitor stopped working… I call that suspicious, but hey coincidences happen. My father-in-law suggested using Parrish AC for a second look. They came out the next day, took a look at my AC units and said Your coolant levels are fine and the units you have are out of warranty, but they’re very sturdy and looking in good condition. I asked, how much do I owe you? And his reply surprised me. You don’t owe me anything just to take a look, but if you ever do need actual work done keep us in mind. I will only use them going forward! But this isn’t a review about them… I understand recommendations aren’t necessarily always bottom of the line or cheapest solutions But here I am three months later with no extra work done and my AC is blowing at 68° through a Florida summer! Cool Today, politely GFY… Hopefully this was a one time thing and they aren’t ripping off older folks for thousands of dollars.

Our 14yr old unit was in rough condition and after getting a few different quotes to have it fixed we decided getting a new unit would be a better investment. From the moment we made the appointment for a quote up until it was installed we were treated with absolute respect and kindness. Mitchell Blasko was our comfort advisor and was extremely knowledgeable and understanding. He answered every question we had while at our home and continued to answer questions well through out the day over the phone. Cool Today was able to be at our home the very next day where Tyler and Paul Installed a brand new 4 ton 18seers Carrier unit in under 4 hrs. They also were very kind and answered all my questions and concerns. I feel like we made a great decision going with Cool Today and feel confident that if issues arise they will be by our side to help.

We live in a 3 story townhome with zoned heating and cooling. We were experiencing uneven cooling particularly on our first floor. We also were experiencing a 100% increase in our FP&L bills for the past several months. I scheduled an appointment with Cool Today (our regular AC/Electrical/Plumbing provider) and they sent an EXCELLENT AC Technician (Ahmed) that same day. Ahmed diagnosed the problem - a faulty damper operating for our first floor and low Freon in our compressor. He came back the next day as promised and replaced both problem parts. Ahmed took us through his meticulous documentation of his before and after repair and demonstrated how the fix was in and working properly. The best repair work I have ever experienced. I highly recommend Cool Today and Ahmed in particular. Well done!

Generac Generator contract July 2024, Generator up and running December 2024. Short outage in May 2025 (first time running) never shut itself off. Two appointments later Cool Today decided it must be a burned out mother board. Three weeks later no communication from Cool Today. Now the height of hurricane season and we have no Generator! There is much more to this experience with Cool Today. Sorry I contracted with Cool Today and would NEVER recommend this company. Jeff Munafo please reach out to me!

I have got 2 ACs and 1 water heater installed in the last 8 months which have broke over 5 times. The one AC system didn’t work for a month shortly after they installed it. I had to wait for a part. Then the second time it broke I had a tenant with a baby staying at my place there was no AC for a week and I had to refund them for their stay hoping they don’t give me a bad review. To deal with the associates of Cool Today isn’t fun. They have a huge company disconnect. No one knows what is going on. Also they DO NOT deliver same day service if you happen to have a problem on a weekend forget it. Their prices are the highest across town and the service is mediocre. I would definitely NOT Recommend this company.

From the first contact to insulation, I have been neyond pleased. The salesman Rob was excellent. Very thorough and professional. Answered every question and gave us answers to questions I didn’t know to ask. I’ll be honest, I had other quotes, and they were all pretty close but when he asked about any veterans in my family as I would get a discount, I cried. Your company and its employees are amazing. I asked for his boss’s number and as soon as he finished up the sale, I called his boss and told them how pleased I was. One day later, today, was the installation! One thing I like is the texting with a link to follow your worker. And they also called. I had Paul and Fred. Cordial, polite, explained everything. I was super Impressed!
