I Would use any plumbing company, but this one. The latest debacle was when we called them at 9Am and needed our pipe snaked as everything was clogged, including shower and toilets. This has happened before and we knew it just needed to be snaked like they have done before for us. They were supposed to be out between 12 and 4pm. The guy showed up at 4 o’clock and said that it was too windy for him to snake the pipes. At the time the wind was 15 mph, but not steady. He said it was too dangerous and would come tomorrow, but they would not come again until somewhere between 12 and 4pm again! I am a disabled senior that has recently had colon surgery and I needed my bathroom in working order. I refuse to wait 24 hours for them to come back out. Highly unprofessional and we will not utilize this company again. We have already given them thousands of dollars for a re-pipe job a few years back and we have had problems with that re-piping as well.

Great job done by Adam. My original home builder used pex for an outdoor mounted tankless water heater. The UV ruined the pex and pinhole leaks were in multiple places. It wasn't an emergency so I called late on Tuesday, Adam scoped it out Wednesday, and got the needed stock and made the repairs on Thursday. The result is a plumbing job that will withstand the brutal Florida sun.

At 10:30 this morning, I discovered our water heater was leaking in the garage. I called Cool Today, which said they could get a service technician to my house between noon and 4 p.m. Ken Planz arrived at 1:30 pm. He concluded the heater needed replacing and did have a spare in his truck. He removed the old tank and installed the new one before 4 p.m. He did an excellent job and answered all my questions. But the plumber that arrived was experienced and understanding. We had to pull a pretty toilet that had a simple broken part but was not built for easy maintenance. I'm a snowbird, and when I arrived at my Florida condo, I smelled something like burning wires and also couldn't get much hot water. When I called Cool Today, they had an electrician here within a few hours--who determined that my hot water heater had shorted out. He disconnected the power, and the next day a plumber installed a new water heater. The cost was much less than I had anticipated and they offered a 6 year warranty on the water heater. I couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism, prompt service, and excellent value from Cool Today.

He explained what needed to change which was minimal, a tank and couple of new pex tubes, following draining the tank. Installation was quick and clean. He explained warranty and future care. I understand that prices are high on everything. So I checked with Home Depot and the heater only cost $600 how can you expect me to pay $2600? The plumbing tech looked dirty and unkempt. The feeling he gave out was - just uncomfortable and was flat out weird. He could not do the repair because he was not strong enough to move the washing machine to get to the drain. He had to leave without making any repairs. What a waste of time. I’ve used Cool Today before and never had tech like this weak, scruffy, little baby. I’m an elderly lady and I guess I will have to find a plumber who will actually help.

Miguel Torres came to check out our 9month old water heater because we are not receiving consistent hot water in our master bath. He diagnosed the problem as either the pump that gets the water upstairs from the garage or a mixing valve for the shower. We decided to wait a bit longer to monitor the situation. The pump is 8 years old so may have lived its life. Miguel was a big help and gave us quotes for the time when repairs are necessary. Because the hot water heater is under warranty we did not have to pay.

I’ve had positive experiences with Cool Today in the past, but unfortunately my recent service with Plumbing Today was extremely disappointing. Yesterday morning I woke up to find my house had no water pressure and called right away. They scheduled me between 12–4pm, but at 4 o’clock the technician called to say he was still in Bradenton. On the phone he told me he probably couldn’t help because I’m on a well system, and that he didn’t carry the necessary parts. When he did arrive, he only spent about 15 minutes before telling me there was nothing he could do and suggested I call the original pump installer—leaving my family with no running water overnight. What made this worse is that he didn’t troubleshoot basic possibilities. For example, he never tried bypassing the GFCI with an extension cord. I did this myself as soon as he left and immediately discovered the problem. He also couldn’t confirm if my aerator or GFCI was the issue. I was left feeling that Plumbing Today simply didn’t care about resolving my urgent problem. The lack of concern and follow-through was frustrating and left us without running water for another night. I hope this feedback helps others understand that, at least in my case, Plumbing Today was not equipped or willing to provide meaningful support

I had a new water heater installed at my house by this company. Prior to installation I asked to have the plumbing manager call me two different times. I was never called back. After the installation I had some questions and concerns about the job and price I had to pay. I called and left a message two times for a call back and was told both times a "Donna" would call me right back that day. She never did. The work done was satisfactory, however the price seemed way out of line and the customer service after the sale is terrible. I still have questions and concerns.

I had Cool Today come to get an estimate to remove and clean the dirty coil in my A/C. I was quoted $2400. Got a quote the next day for $800 from Nice Air. The guy from Cool Today did clean the drain pipe from the A/C. Charged me $279.00, poured 2 gallons of hot water in the pipe, and was here for about an hour. Spent most of that time trying to sell me a new unit for $9000-$10,000. The guys from Nice Air cut the drain pipe to find a huge clog. They put a snake in the pipe and did a proper job. Lots of gunk came out. I'll be calling Nice Air from now on.

Had plumber out to evaluate shower faucet that was not working. He said we needed a complete new faucet and quoted 1800.00$ to replace the faucet and the shower is plastic easy access in wall behind it from closet. We went to lowes and purchased a new knob and cartridge took 30mins to change out and it was less than 50$! Why he said it was a 1800$ job i have no idea but it was the most absurd price for a simple fix that wasn't even the issue! Beware. He also didn't even have the part on his truck to even repair if we did want it repaired and said they couldn't come back have until Monday to get it fixed!

He thought he might have to send someone else the next day with different equipment. But tried unclogging from the roof through the vent stack and was successful. Great job! Prices are high: $440 to unclog (snake) the main toilet and snake the master bath sink from hair. It took all of 20-25 min from the time he started to the time he was done working. He came in at 3:15, figured out the issues, and did the work needed. He took a few minutes to take my payment, defended the high price, and left at 3:45. He was here half an hour, did excellent work and was very pleasant, but WOW, that was a lot of money for half an hour of his time, his skill, and I needed NO supplies. However, I am relieved that it’s resolved.

Your tech showed up on time and got the toilet working, but I didn't appreciate him trying to sell me a new toilet. The one he just worked on is only a few months old! He made a point to tell me that our renters did not plug the toilet and the reason that we had a problem was because our toilet wasn't powerful enough. He tried to upsell me to a pressure assist toilet like in a public restroom, instead of a gravity toilet like 99% of the toilets in people's houses in America. Other than that they did a good job and the price was reasonable.

The technician who attended to repair a plumbing issue was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to explain different options prior to starting any repairs. Miguel listened patiently as I described the issue and once I was finished, proceeded to show me what needed to be repaired. It isn’t very often where a service technician is as patient and understanding as Miguel was during my call. The repair was completed with efficiency and with a fair cost. I was impressed with how professional the ac people were. Came out same day took care of my issues no problems. Reason I did 2 stars was the plumber that came the following day refused to work on my bathroom and I mentioned the sink and tub wouldn’t drain. He said and I quote I can’t work in these conditions and tub and sink would be a little cleaner if they were able to drain. He just didn’t want to work. Was very disappointed. Found someone else for half the price same day that got it done in an hr. Was very pleased with them.
