I am a very busy realtor that has worked with so many air conditioning companies, but never anyone as good as “Cool Today“. They installed a completely new system with duo zones into my home and it is the best air conditioner I have ever had in my life and the customer service has far exceeded any other customer service I’ve ever used. I am in a position With a lot of choices on air conditioning companies, but I would never use anyone but Cool Today or recommend anyone but Cool Today. They are the best

They quoted $1,987 to replace a fan motor. I knew that was outrageous so I told them no thank you. The very first company I called after that was $1,065! So, I saved over $900 by making one phone call. Although Cool Today technically did not commit a crime, I feel what they did is criminal and at the very least, unethical. They are taking advantage of thousands of people in Florida that don't know any better and it is simply wrong. I have just enough experience to know what things should cost. I am very frustrated that they are still in business given my experience with them. By the way, the OEM part costs $400 without markup and it took the technician 20 minutes to change. The company I used made a nice profit but at least it didn't feel egregious. Cool Today seemed outrageous (and proved to be) and I am glad I shopped around.

We had cool Today (electrical) out to install surge protectors in our panel and ACs. During a visit from a friend, he highly recommended we get a second look at the panel. We did and the electrician stated it was wired completely wrong and was dangerous as wired. We called cool today several times and the “manager” is always supposed to call and never has. Today, they sent a sr technician to our house who confirmed it was not installed correctly and this same “manager” was going to call us at 3pm- never called. So they screw up, make me wait over a month to confirm they screwed up, and then continue to completely blow me off. I was patient but making me wait for any type of response is disrespectful. So before I report this further, just warning the next person.

The service man was very professional and kind. To my knowledge all went fine. I know nothing about what they do, so I have to trust them. I’m a senior. I was overcharged $10 but understand it will be refunded to my account. I had an additional coupon from Home Depot for the $10. And the serviceman didn’t take it off. I was pleased with the service, it didn’t take long, so I’m assuming he did everything.

They treat their members well. AC out and with a short call, the tech was promptly onsite. He quickly diagnosed the situation and we were back in business. They also communicate very well keeping us informed along the way as to expected arrival time of the tech. Very professional and courteous all around ! Wanted over 500 dollars to replace a rubber washer on Shower water shutoff valve to stop a water drip. Service tech said he wasn't sure if he had a rubber washer to stop drip, and that it might cost as much as 1,800 dollars. Paid the service fee, and sent the tech on his way. Do not recommend

The install team came with four pieces of hardware (i.e. compressor, blower, soft start, and thermostat) The soft start was the wrong size and the blower had a name plate from a different brand. The technician hooked up the compressor wiring wrong and blew out the control system on the compressor and the thermostat. They completely replaced the compressor unit and thermostat two days later and installed the right soft start four days later. It seems to be working ok now.

Joshua the CoolToday tech came to the house to service and check the new cooling system that was installed after Hurricane Helene. It Survived Milton. He was very nice and friendly. He explained what he was checking and servicing. During his work, He found a loose wire in the compressor unit outside not making full contact and repaired it He installed new wire nuts on all other wire connections. At the completion of his service he said there was no charge. It was complimentary with the new install the year before. I Highly recommended the company.

We have been using Cool-Plumbing-Energy Today for several years to test our 2 backflow devices in Palmetto, FL. We are snowbirds so we are not there when this needs to be done. This company is so reliable and professional. We know that we can rely on them to do the job within a matter of days. They keep us informed when they're on the way & during the testing. The service rep sends us photos of the testing results, etc. They ticket the backflows and email everything to us. Then they send the report to the county. Very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend them. Great job!

I just had a maintenance service call and I must say I was impressed. Steven, the technician called me in advance to let me know his ETA and sent a text with his photo and tracking link. He spent well over an hour, was very thorough and identified areas of concern with my AC that I was completely unaware of and flushed out the system and did other maintenance support. He was friendly and even my dogs liked him so that’s new! Highly recommend this company. I will be using their services going forward. I hope to get Steven again!

Your Technician is amazing !! He showed up on time and got right to work on our system. Adam Collins is professional and informative !! We have been down here for two years from up NORT Wisconsin, and have been running a portable dehumidifier all summer both years. My wife asked him if this is common down here to run a small portables along with your HVAC system. His answers are never just yes or no, so it took some investigating. He made the adjustments and the humidity dropped from 64% down to 40%. Jean and I have owned our own businesses for decades and know a keeper when we see one. Please let me know if you plan on letting him go. We would be willing to place him on one of our TEAMS.

My post is for AC: the all time best experience starting with my salesman, Jimmy, and of course, the installation crew (Jonathan and his brother). My 28 year old system passed away on 6/18/25 in Sarasota FL. I had a very professional meeting with Jimmy. Liked him and everything he said. No pushing to buy. After that one hour meeting I was easily ready to join the Cool Today membership. Wasted one more day for another company's quote. Not worth the time when you're sleeping in 89° temperature but I did. After that 2nd quote, I went straight back to Jimmy at Cool Today. Within one day I had my refinancing approved and the installers scheduled the next day. Jonathan and his brother were the most dedicated, determined, very driven, and took pride in their work to do this upgrade/install for me. It was almost like they were putting this new system in their very own homes. I am 110% so happy for choosing Cool Today and highly recommend this company for your AC needs.

Stay away from this company. They sent someone that was to install (hook up) our new waahing machine that had no clue how to do his job. He reinstalled the shipping bolts sayting they were to keep the washer away from the wall. When we started the washer it locked up and jumped across. The room. Then talked to manager that was very condescending and rude. He would not take any responsibility for his techs mistake. Think twice about using this company. There are plenty of good plumbing and HVAC companies out there

My experience: If you are looking for high quality work and excellent customer service, Cool Today is the way to go. I had a new unit and thermostat installed-the day after receiving a quote. Price point is amazing and very affordable! The company also gives back to the community which they've been serving for over 60 years. The technicians who were here today also made sure I understood how to download the APP for my new thermostat and took the time to teach me how to operate the various settings. All around a wonderful experience. They even handle the permitting so you don't have to worry about any added stress.

Sam arrived on time. He explained and showed me pictures of what he found on inspection. Recommended solutions and gave me the option of completing all or some on the fixes same day. I was surprised to see my system had started growing mold. We took care of that right away. He installed 3 UV lights inside the system.

Per an email I got from Cool Today, I was told he would be here at Noon to 4pm but he showed up at 10am. Not the right time for me and not his fault, Cool Today gave him incorrect instructions.

Technician was courteous and professional. Jaziel did an outstanding job performing the yearly service on my residence. I did give a 3 star rating due to the fact that you no longer get 2 minor toilet rebuilds for free with the service plan. I was informed that it would be $300 per toilet for a minor rebuild……that is INSANE!!!! I would much rather go back to paying the $359 yearly fee and have 2 toilet rebuilds included. Definitely think this is something you should re-consider as I would have to assume this isn’t the first time you have heard of this concern from a customer. Like many homes in the area, we have 3 toilets so that would be $900. I will YouTube educate myself and figure out how to do it on my own. I have been a customer for over 5 years, to be honest, this could be a game changer.

AC unit went down at 5PM Friday. Current vendor never returned my phone call. Called Cool Today and had a rep onsite Sunday to spec the system. Delivery team showed up at 8AM Monday. Great product and service. Top Name Brand equipment, not off brand like the cheaper vendors. You get what you pay for and Cool Today is worth it!
