First off, our tech Angel was FANTASTIC on both visits. This rating does not reflect his work, but the dispatch and customer service teams really failed during our last interaction with this company. Our AC failed on Monday and Angel was out on Tuesday to assess the issue and told us they needed to order a part and it would be 3 days - no big deal. I got a call from dispatch on Thursday to let me know the part was in and Angel would be out on Friday between 12-4 - we were going to be his second call of the day. Friday comes and it’s 3:30p with no word of an update so I call customer service to get an ETA and I’m told the tech is finishing up his current call and I’ll get a call from him in 10-15 minutes with and ETA. 5:45p I call again and explain that I’m looking for an update and customer service just told me they would have someone call me back. A dispatcher calls 20ish minutes later and says to the new time frame is 8-11pm. I express my frustration that we were told 12-4 and heard nothing from anyone and that this lack of communication was unacceptable. Dispatcher claims that they were going push us ahead, but Angel didn’t arrive until 8pm. Again, Angel was AWESOME. The lack of proactive communication was a major black eye that Cool Today could have avoided.

Francisco did a very thorough job. Very pleasant technician. I do not agree with cutting my labor warranty period in half that the manufacturer allows just because you didn't install it originally. Seems like a money grab.

The technician was very thorough and knew what to look for even though he could not find any leaks in the refrigerant system. Did refill some refrigerant and will check back in six months. Overall very satisfied with the experience.

Service was performed on my AC unit with a young man named Christopher. Today you never know what the quality of your service will be. Many want to immediately sell you something. This young man informed me of what he did and what if any steps are needed to continue to keep my AC unit working in top condition. You could see he followed a step by step training he was given. I would continue to reccommend Cool Today as I have used them since 2005

Cool today was on the job Thursday, replacing our air conditioning system the day after we spoke to their sales representative, Chris. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. Team of three arrived and worked hard to get our old system out. They installed our new Lenox system, and then cleaned up afterwards. The team lead by Carlos Rodriguez, was knowledgeable, respectful of our questions, and very conscientious. We are so grateful to have our new air conditioning up and running. It is definitely an improvement in quietness and efficiency. Our guest room is no longer the stuffy, and the entire house is evenly cool and quiet. Thank you Cool Today for taking care of our home.

0 STARS!!! I called on Friday asking for a quote to do a garbage disposal installation and replace washer lines. I was given an appointment window on Saturday from 12-4pm AND an $89 estimate fee just to show up. 5:36pm on Saturday and they are a no show. When I called the office, she put me on hold for several minutes then came back to say, “I don’t know when they will be there, but they say they will be there today.” I asked, “Does that mean 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, or tomorrow?” She said, “I don’t have an ETA, but it will be today.” So I told her I want to cancel my appointment to which she had the audacity to ask, “Are you sure?” I told her, “Absolutely. If you guys can’t even keep time commitments then I wouldn’t hire you anyway. You basically wasted my entire Saturday.” She said, “okay, have a good day.” NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY FOR WASTING MY ENTIRE SATURDAY! WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD! SHAME ON YOU!!!

When I had originally called on Thursday afternoon and scheduled an appointment, I was told that there was an 8am-12pm window for Friday, when I happened to be home from work. At 12:17PM, I was finally called by a technician and told that they were on their way, and about 10-15 minutes out. After waiting for an hour and calling dispatch, twice, I was told that "the service call was cancelled", despite the fact that I did not call and cancel it. Furthermore, both times that I was told they were "contacting dispatch to find out what was going on", I was mysteriously disconnected, despite the fact I was assured that, 'if this call gets disconnected, we have caller-ID and will call you back'. Spoiler warning: I was not called back. This was an absolute waste of my time on one of the few days that I had off of work, and will be happily going to the first competitor that I can have come out and service this issue. Avoid this business at all costs.

Needed emergency service for a condominium AC not working in Palmetto. Although many HVAC repair say 24/7 this was the only company that I found that would make a call after 6pm. Technician Isiah came out and quickly fixed the problem and communicated all issues. I am so pleased with the service and so was the tenant. We will keep on using Cool Today from now on!

I’ve done business with this company in the past and had great experiences up until recently. I had a new mini split installed recently and to make a long story short it had a small leak at the connections. I need a simple fix and recharge of the system. I ask for a quote and boy did I get one, and overage quote to cover the companies cost of materials instead of the company taking care of the customer to ensure that cost over time. They decided to put it all on me by overcharging and when attempting to discuss the situation based on two other quotes that were $300 cheaper, they said there was nothing they could do to help. I will most likely never do business with them again, very disappointing ruining a business relationship this way.

On Friday, June 5, my air-conditioning went out. It was 86° in my home and I called another service and they couldn’t come out till next week. I called Cool TODAY! after 5 o’clock and she said they could have somebody out between eight and 11 that night. Couldn’t believe it I did get Joe Zagorski and what a blessing he got my AC up and running. He checked everything to make sure there was gonna be no problems before he left me. This company is absolutely the best bar none because they have Joe I canceled my appointment with the other company which they were cheaper for my other unit for next week and am more than gladly to pay the little bit more to have the best in the business thank you Joe thank you Cool TODAY!. You will always be servicing my air conditioning units and when it’s time to buy a new one, you will get the job as long as I can have Joe if you had 10 stars or 100 stars I would mark them all so so happy thank you

The Gentleman that came was very pleasant. However he asked me if I had a filter. It happened that I did not. He told me that your Company did not carry that size. It is a standard size 18X24. He didn't really explain what he was doing, or had done. Perhaps he hadn't been trained correctly. Like I said he was pleasant and polite.

Pros: available nearly 24/7, everyone I worked with was friendly. Cons: Not sure how qualified their techs are, at least the ones we had. First visit, the tech leaves after 3 hours, saying he needs to order a part or replace a wire and he'll be back the next day. Next day, a different tech comes out and says I need to replace several parts, and 'that's 100% the issue', not the thermostat or the wire. $600+ and a couple hours later, the tech leaves. An hour after the tech leaves, the thermostat goes blank and the AC turns off. Next day, the same tech comes out and says 'it's your humidistat, I see this a lot, I'm going to unplug it.' So now I have no working humidistat or recommendation to get it working, and I replaced $600 worth of parts I'm not sure I needed to replace.

The owner of Cool Today sent me an email and asked me to review my recent experience with Cool Today, Sarasota. I would have liked to email him but that is not possible as everything from the company is NO REPLY. I decided to leave this review. I have a service contract for A/C maintenance. I requested a specific service tech that has serviced my property in the past on several occasions and has done a great job. The company called the day of my appointment to tell me that Mykola would not be coming. Erin was to replace him. I didn't have much choice. Erin did his thing. What he didn't do was send me an invoice for the service, photos of the readings on my equipment and condition of components, vacuum the drain line on my mini-split or rinse the condenser on my package unit. He did not measure the temperature at the intakes and exist of the air vents. All of my previous techs did this. I had to ask if my capacitor reading was ok. He did inform me of that age of my ultraviolet light was overdo. I agreed to replace it. I also added a surge protector. The charges were high considering the cost of the parts in the retails market and the fact that the tech was onsite already. He was not as thorough as my previous techs Mykola and Kim who is not longer in the field. This young man could use some additional training.

We had an outdoor mishap with our garage faucet, it pulled out of the wall and was leaking pretty badly on Memorial Day evening. We called multiple plumbing Companies and Cool Today was the fastest to respond. Our 1st responding plumber ( Ronny ) was on time, within 15 minutes, and in an emergency that's AWESOME! He identified the problem, solved it, and set a follow up appointment for today to complete the project. Today, Thomas also showed up on time, and completed the effort and we are 100% satisfied with their combined efforts, let's not forget the nice lady (apologies for not remembering her name) who answered our initial questions and scheduled the entire project. Scheduled an appointment with this company after seeing them listed in “Five Star Rated”. As you can see from my rating here they fell very short of that. Appointment was scheduled the following day between 8am-noon and that the staff would call when on their way. Instead got a call from their office at 11am saying that the tech was running late. They were not able to give me an ETA but they said he would call when on his way. Waited until 2:30pm and no one had called. Called the office back and again asked for an ETA. I was put on an extended hold. Again they would not give me a time frame so I canceled to call someone else after wasting most of the day waiting for them. Five Star Rating service needs to re-evaluate this company-very poor service!

Extremely dissapointed. Scheduled a couple days in advance to cap off water lines under kitchen sink because we have to remove the cabinet. I confirmed the appointment by text the day before. On the appointment date a couple hours before.. we got a call saying they had staff call in sick so they had to cancel. We pleaded with customer service and she followed up by text that a plumber will still come out but running late. This turned into a no call, no show.. no customer service now at this hour. BEWARE!!

5 Stars – Exceptional Service with Heart and Integrity We had an incredibly positive experience with Cool Today Park Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical from start to finish. When our air conditioner suddenly stopped working on a Saturday, they had someone at our home within two hours of calling — and we weren’t even charged for an emergency visit, which was a pleasant surprise. One thing I really appreciated was their thoughtful safety features — we received real-time text updates with the technician’s estimated arrival time, his name, and a photo. It made the experience feel safe, transparent, and caring right from the start. Our technician, Anthony Baldwin, was absolutely outstanding. He was kind, professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly empathetic to our situation. Utilized Cool Today through Costco to add a Mini Split A/C unit for my garage and workshop. The crew showed up and were like a machine as they did their work on the install. The unit is functioning very well and we are very happy. After the crew left the only way you knew they were there was the fact that the unit is on the wall.

The AC unit all of a sudden stopped working. The NEST thermostat in the photo ls what I was told had to be replaced for $379 with an unknown thermostat. But then they said the wiring had to be replaced at the condenser unit. So a 6 foot piece Of fully accessible thermostat wire was $279 For something that cost about five dollars at most. Then they said there was a bad capacitor, that was another $279, first of all there was nothing wrong with the Capacitor because the Condenser fan was running fine before they got there. Anyway, I didn’t want argue with them. So I paid it. The repair men have now become Salesman that get commission on everything they replace. Big scam!

Edwin is fantastic, couldn't be happier with how everything went! We had low coolant and called to have them back out, they sent Ahmad Suliman. He told us there was no leak and all we needed was a recharge. When he went out to take the valve off, he broke it and all the coolant escaped. He then said there was a leak, and that he would repair the valve the next morning. He never showed and their service manage called to tell me it was our fault the valve broke since the unit was old. He then tried to sell us a new unit, or charge us over $5k to repair it. We will never use them again, they broke the valve and are flat our refusing to fix what they did.

Great company. I'm new to the Rotunda West area. A friend of mine referred Cool Today. They said technician would contact me when he was 45 minutes out and literally he did to the minute. Joseph was awesome. I wasn't there, a friend met him, and he called me and went over everything. Even followed up by having the company call me to get a quote on a new air condition unit. Liked their professionalism and thoroughness so much I even signed up for their yearly membership program. Would recommend these guys to anyone
