Long story short...most things the Technician said were BS! Main thing he said I needed a new Fan Motor since my heat didn't work. That would have been close to $2,000 with tax and labor. I called a local A/C guy while he was here to have him come over. So Mike turned on the A/C and it came on. Wow, why didn't the Cool Today Tech try that??? So, all I need is a heating connection replaced that will be around $200, instead of $2,000! I'm sorry that I contracted with this company as well as having three of my Customers switch over to them! Bummer ir was.

Cool Today installed a new AC system for us recently. Chris in sales is very knowledgeble and helpful he responded to several questions after initial visit. Paul, who led the installation with another technician was super skilled. We appreciated the automated text system to track their arrival time, with photo, and the covering they put all through our house and up the stairs to protect flooring. Paul also crawled in our attic to repair a crack in the discharge pipe! Overall Cool Today made us feel confident about our purchase. One star deducted for pretentious (and annoying) post-purchase rating request texts and emails faking the company president's name. Otherwise, five stars.

That is how I found them and was very impressed and pleased with the service of Cool Today. Omar was the Technician that did the work and said that I had 2 options; repairing or replacing. No pressure whatsoever and very courteous. I went with replacement and was very pleased with Mitch who presented the product and explained everything. Their warranty and maintenance plans were very reasonable. This company presents as an honest and trustworthy company… I highly recommend them.

Francisco and his trainee Jack did a thorough cleaning and inspecting of all aspects of our A/C system. We were shown an option Captura UVC Germicidal Air Purifier to provide better air quality, as well as the cost of only replacing our UV light source. They we’re courteous, and respectful of our home. I would highly recommend these men! This was done as part of our warranty on this new system.

I went on the monthly service with cool today as they shared they would send out the various technicians for electrical plumbing and HVAC throughout the service. Each time they came out to do their "complementary "inspection, the technicians always pushed for a specific service with an exorbitant cost. I've come to find out that all of the technicians at cool today are Commissioned based. So, the more they can sell you the more money they make. I've realized that $450 to change out an outlet might be a little steep and now I know why.. I recently had a very similar experience with my HVAC system. Though I am on their monthly service plan, they want to charge me $250 to replace a $20 part that takes five minutes to replace. It sure does make it challenging to trust a company who pushes their employees to sell as much as they can and they can make money off of us that way. Not such And ethical business model

Wilfrid was very nice. He changed the supplied filter and cleaned my grate. He checked the capacitor and said it is still good he washed my condenser coils. Was very disappointed that he didn’t check the most important part of the AC. He didn’t check my Freon level. He never took out the guages to check. I don’t know if it was because I got the Home Depot special pricing. The list of things to check on the supplied paperwork is checking the level of Freon.

This appointment was the standard 6 month service per our Service Agreement. While the technician said everything was good we received no summary of findings on the AC system, and was surprised that the technician did not bring in or out any filters,. I may be wrong, but I thought filter replacement was standard procedure for any AC service appointment. The technician was a very pleasant gentleman, and seemed knowledgeable, but I think a written summary of the work done and findings on the AC system should be standard procedure. Thank you.
