Great first experience with Cool Today. Needed a regular yearly maintenance check and was able to schedule an appointment almost right away. Tech let me know when he was on his way and his ETA (very helpful). Very friendly when he showed up and got right to it once we had the initial chat. I appreciate that he did not try to sell me on things I didn't need or wanted. Other companies seem to make it part of the techs job to be part salesman. Wasn't the case here so.....THANK YOU! I will keep Cool Today on the books as my go to HVAC company anytime I need something.

We would like to give a huge shout out and thank you to Cool Today, and particularly to Adam who came to our house at 9 o’clock at night, quickly fixed the problem, and got our AC up and running. he insisted on staying for a little bit to make sure that the problem was truly fixed, and he was great about explaining exactly what happened so we can avoid the problem in the future. He was polite, courteous, and clean; putting booties on when he stepped into our house at the front door, taking them off when he stepped out of our house into the garage, and then putting them back on to come back through and explain things to us. Awesome! When we called into the office, we were greeted by somebody who was just as polite and courteous, spoke English flawlessly and did not make promises that would not be kept. She explained that someone would be out, but she could not say when, but that they would call 30 minutes prior. Mind you I called at, 5:30 in the afternoon and was not expecting service the same day but was ecstatic that we did not have to suffer through the heat and humidity last night. We will definitely be signing up for their whole home plan for $20 a month to continue to get this awesome service and not have to worry about AC, plumbing, or electrical when we have a problem. Thanks very much Cool Today! You are truly the epitome of excellence in customer service.

When I called Cool Today for an estimate on a new system, they came in $1,000 under my other bids, and most importantly, they were able to install the next morning. Other companies were not able to install for 7-10 days, and in 90+ Florida heat that was not good and possibly dangerous to my health. Cool Today came in at 8am as promised, and finished up in a few hours. The technician was polite, courteous, informative and cleaned up afterward. I am extremely pleased with the service.

Things started well when we were notified in advance several times about his coming. He arrived right on time. We loved how he sent his photo with his announcement that he was on the way. He was attentive, instructional, going out of his way to offer support. Friendly guy who volunteered to come back anytime. Such great service, I highly recommend!!! Emmanuel was so efficient and professional. While I was visiting my mother in Naples, the bath tub water valve broke and the bath tub would not stop running and we had to turn off the main and then had no water. Emmanuel with Cool Today showed up in under two hours and replaced the valve control for a reasonable price. I wish I had such a great service provider where I live in Atlanta.

Great experience! We called and got a quick response, Scott was excellent, he was very professional and listened carefully. He provided a good quote, helped us use our Home Depot credit and had the job scheduled for the first thing the next morning. The installation crew, Shawn and Carlos were great. Very friendly and did a super job installing and cleaning up, taking away the old equipment. Our home is cool today and we are very happy. Will recommend you to our friends.

My unit was only 10 years old and didn’t really need to be replaced, but I’m a very proactive person and so I have been thinking about the possibility of replacing my heat and air conditioning unit. When leaving Costco I stopped and spoke to the gentleman. He was very informative, and told me about some incentives and various programs such as a tax credit that were available by upgrading my unit. The install went as planned. They arrived on time ,cleaned up after themselves, made sure I knew how to use the new thermostat, etc. I would highly recommend Cool Today if you are considering replacing your heating and air unit.

Serviceman "Sam" was super knowledgeable and efficient. He did a thorough inspection and assessment and provided quality recommendations. My issue, 4 vs 5 stars, is with the time window for service. I was booked for 8 to noon. At 11:45am I still hadn't received a heads-up time so I sent a text to the scheduler. I got a call from Sam shortly after noon when he was only a couple minutes away. Adam, the tech, called 30 mins before arriving and was there within the time window that was scheduled. He performed routine maintenance and let me know exactly what he was doing. When he found a couple of issues with our system he physically showed/demonstrated the findings, took pictures and fully explained the issues and potential problems. He did not pressure me to make the repairs, but took time to help me understand the options. He then quoted a fair price, replaced the components needed, cleaned up and made the whole process easy. Adam also asked me to let him know if there were any issues with our system. In short, Cool Today did a great job! Please let Adam know that we appreciated his politeness, honesty and work ethic! Great company very professional!! Easy to make appointment online Had a question after hours and got a call back almost immediately. Tech was very polite and called ahead before arriving on time. I wasn’t home so he stayed in touch with me to let me know what he discovered. Took pictures and I was able to pay over the phone, very efficient. The problem turned out to be simple, a connection only needed to be tightened. Another company had not competently installed my new system and Freon leaked out slowly over the 3 years since it was Installed culminating in today’s visit. My only complaint is the price of Freon ….it’s obviously made in the heavens by the gods who use bits of gold and lovingly bottle it in semi precious jeweled jars then only send it down to earth once in a blue moon in small batches...because it cost me $600 for 4 lbs.

Been using Cool Today for 3 years and very impressed with services but Adam H went above and beyond today during a maintenance appointment for my AC. Very friendly, explained everything and left the system better than when he arrived. When he had a repair recommendation he offered several options dependent on price and was very transparent and not pushy. Overall very happy with the service I received today and highly recommend requesting Adam for your maintenance needs!

Phil the guy they sent out to give us our estimate was very thorough and knowledgeable. He went over all of our options and what we needed to do and spent a lot of time making sure we understood our options. The crew they sent out to do the work were very professional and courtesy. This was not the cheapest estimate we got but was the highest. But we feel we got what we paid for. I could recommend this company too my friends.

Today I had a service technician. From Cool Today out to look at a problem with my ac that a previous company that installed was making. The previous company said it was normal (after 3 visits). The service tech was professional and stayed with the problem until he was able to replicate and repair. He made sure everything was working properly before he left. So happy I signed up for a year service agreement (AC, Plumbing & Electrical)! So thankful for the great service!

I am extremely happy that I chose Cool Today. They responded to my request for a service call within minutes and a Service Technician was at my home very shortly thereafter. He was very professional and did a thorough job of evaluating everything and finding the problem. He then showed me what was wrong, explaining everything in precise detail. I was very impressed with the fact that he spent the time to do this and didn't begin to start a sales pitch. This showed me that this company has integrity as do their employees. I can assure you that this company is who I will call when I am in need of future service and / or a new unit.

My experience with Cool Today was fabulous. The tech not only showed up on time, but gave me a heads up notification of 15 prior, as I had asked. I have been a Siesta Key local for 65 years, and being satisfied with my past A/C company, imagine my dismay, when I was told that they no longer service condos with 4 floors or higher…. So I put trust in the name as I have seen their many advertisements, and noticed a lot of cool today trucks on the key. So happy that I found a good replacement I’m only sorry, I don’t remember the techs name, he was so professional. I look forward to having my new A/C provider to be Cool Today. Thank you

My only disappointment with this service experience was not having my regularly specified technician perform my servicing. She had been my tech for about 10 to 12 years. But, the gentleman who came was very nice, professional, and thorough in his inspection. As a senior citizen, I prefer the same tech each time so I know who is coming. For so long I had requested the same tech. Will evaluate this situation when my service contract is up for renewal. Have been an N&M/Cool Today customer for 24 years.

We’ve been with Cool Today for 6 years now and replaced a 5 ton unit 4 years ago and they also maintain our older 4 ton unit and have been satisfied with the service. Our recent service was fantastic. The worker was friendly, very detailed and communicated every step of the work he was doing, his professional attitude towards us and our property was remarkable. We picked Cool Today to perform our duct cleaning because of positive reviews in the neighborhood, and their (5) star rating in the Sarasota County Homeowner Referral Guidebook. We did have to wait some time to receive an estimate, but when Mitchell came we were impressed with his thoroughness and professional approach. We decide to go with Cool Today. The job is now completed. Cody and Dave were very thorough, the job took approx. (4) hours. Everything appeared spotless afterwards, with before/after pics provided. We would definitely recommend Cool Today for duct cleaning, not sure how they could do better.

The customer service team is friendly, too. However, we didn't have a good experience with the 24/7 service line. It's not a true "24/7 service." Overall, we recommend Cool Today.

Called this morning to see if they could do the semi-annual maintenance. The Tech showed up around 2:15. He did a thorough inspection, testing and cleaning. He explained everything, and when he left, everything was put back together and in it's place. I've been using Cool Today for a little over 2 years, and have been satisfied with their services every time. I highly recommend them.

Jordan, my tech, called prior to his arrival and was even a little early for the appointed time. He was courteous and professional. He did my A/C check and alerted me to an issue that may eventually arise and offered to take care of it immediately. I opted to wait until the next PM in 6 months and he didn’t try to pressure me into doing it today which also impressed me. When he completed the job and left there was no evidence of his visit even though he had to go in my attic. I am very pleased with the service and value provided in the Complete plan that I purchased. I highly recommend

Cool Today was good on the original installation especially after we had issues with control wiring coming down to the first floor from 6 floors above. Their latest service / preventative maintenance visit seemed more focused on upselling me a UV light and surge protector If they were so Important why weren’t they included on my original quote?? Additionally I asked about hurricane straps in addition to clips and the tech was in aware of a hurricane strap is required? But the old one was still connected by a screw laying on the roof. After I met the tech on the roof to discuss the surge protection I discovered the old strap is laying on the roof and not installed. This is a hazard that either should be replaced along with the clips or removed if the clips satisfy hurricane code requirements so the strap isn’t blowing in the wind doing damage to the other units I felt like I was taken on this service call….. The tech however was extremely courteous and willing to do what was asked but obviously seemed trained to upsell on maintenance visits. When trying to sell me the surge protector he had said about half the units had them. When I met him on the roof only 1 unit had a surge protector and the building was equipped with lightning protection which should deal with a lightning surge. I just wanted to know if a surge protector was needed or required and if so why wasn’t included with the original installation.

Came home to a hot house! My app didn’t notify me that I had a problem. So I gave Cool Today a call. My best friend uses them and I thought I’d give them a try, since I was definitely in need of service. They responded the next day and came to find they needed to order a motor. It was replaced and now I’m cool again. Everyone I dealt with, from the repair person on the job to the people that I called were so friendly and helpful. They made me feel like they wanted to help as soon as they could. I will definitely be using them for my check ups on a regular basis now!

I will start off by saying that I wanted to give a 5 star review bc of my sales rep Ben. He was and has been awesome. Unfortunately, two stars is pushing it. We had an install that long story short went well overtime and they left without it complete. Told my husband if it still doesn’t work, call customer service. So, at around 1030pm I was putting in a repair service call. Finally, by the next evening we had the A/C working. Our sales rep wasn’t contacted during the whole install. About a week later we had some extra return vents put in. At that visit they were to call Ben and talk about fixing a bathroom vent. They never contacted him and instead drywall patched over my bathroom vent. While at my house they used my Dyson stick vac for drywall dust (bc they didn’t have a shop vac), washed hands in my handicapped fathers sink leaving drywall mud all over his dishes, left our broom and dustpan full of debris, etc. so, I contacted Ben and sent photos and told him I went to use my Dyson and it just sputtered. It’s completely full of dust and mud. See photos. He sends my info to customer service. I send a link to my model. They said they need photos. I send photos and videos. Fast forward a week. I reach out, they tell me someone (a random employee, not a vacuum tech) has to come to my house to check it out and verify it’s broken. Wow. So, now, some random A/C Guy knows more about my vacuum than I do? I’m lying that it’s broken? I have dogs, kids, live in the country. It’s been two weeks and I’ve been beyond patient waiting for a replacement for the item their employees destroyed and now they tell me they have to verify it’s not working. I cannot recommended this company. I can say Ben has been awesome, understanding and kind. The install manager, Luis, told me it is his boss that is requiring this. So, not only did they drywall patch an A/C duct in my bathroom that I’m still waiting to have repaired, but they destroyed my $400 Dyson vac and now are insinuating that I am a liar and they need to verify it. I’m so beyond insulted and frustrated. I didn’t ask for them to forget the shop vac and ruin my Dyson. This company is far too large to be treating customers this way. I’m disappointed and insulted. It takes a LOT for me to write a bad review bc I don’t want the negativity it brings for their good employees. I was waiting for them to make it right before I posted anything and after the phone call today I decided it was the right time to share our experience. Pros: the AC unit is great, pricing was decent and work was done in a timely fashion. The workers to the house have been kind and mannerly. I’ll update more as more work is done.

All the old materials were completely hauled away leaving the installation area clean. 05/01/24 Added exterior fan hood to prevent debris from getting into unit. Joe provided service, very professional.

My AC went out at 8. I called and Sylvia took my request. She was friendly and professional. Taylor took my appointment. He called before he showed up and took care of everything. He was incredibly friendly and professional. He gave me some recommendations for the work I will need but showed pictures to justify what he said. He was efficient, fast, and very polite. A great experience for an emergency repair. Will definitely use again Okay — so I was quoted $1600 for a coil cleaning. Schwartz air quoted me $880. I thought Taylor was great but this company was almost twice the cost. Go with Schwartz air.

They may do quality work, I can only attest to the driver that sped through an “exit only” lane in Tampa today (during Gasperilla traffic) and quickly darted into my lane causing me to have to slam on my brakes to avoid hitting the van. They could do excellent work, but they need to teach their drivers how to drive.

Again, Cool Today tried to take advantage of my elderly father in law.The tech said the saftey float switch is bad, along with the U.V. light.Yes the float switch is bad,, but the U.V. light is glowing bright. Asked if the older trustworthy tech was available, they said.. they didnt know, or have the ability to see if he was. I have the pictures of the bad float switch, and WORKING U.V. light. Companies and people should be recognized because it's hard to find outstanding companies that take care of their customers. A/C INSTALLATION: 5/21/21 Yeral and team did a FANTASTIC job. Arrived right on time, worked in and out leaving no trace that they were ever there. Very professional and courteous. They were transparent in explaining what they were going to do and gave updates as they completed each section at a time. It is hard to find honest, hardworking, and kind people but Cool Today knows how to do it right from start to finish. From my salesman, Ryan to the installers, I have to say I am very pleased! ADDITIONAL DUCT/VENT CLEANING: 6/3/21 Ryan came out to clean the vents and ducts. Did an absolutely phenomenal job. The vents looked brand new after 21 years of never being cleaned. He cleaned it of various debris, 'organic growth,' and all kinds of other unwanted materials. All of the staff thus far from the techs to back office support have been professional and courteous. I was even given some complimentary services that caught me off guard. From start to finish, Cool Today has did an outstanding job. ROOFING INSULATION 6/11/21 I was so pleased with the prior services I wanted to continue using CoolToday in other areas. Amy came out and looked at our insulation and gave truly honest feedback that you a consumer wouldn't typically expect from sales reps. She identified other areas of concern and I booked additional appointments. They also install generators which I plan to utilize in the future for hurricane season since I've had such a good experience! HEATING VENT CLEANING 6/14/21 Alexander cleaned our vents and gave us sound advice on maintaining them. He was professional and courteous as all of the prior technicians. Very friendly and kept us in the loop on what he was going to do and has done. Very happy with the customer service! PLUMBING SERVICES 6/15/21 Daniel came out to do plumbing work. Quickly completed the job to absolute satisfaction. Very happy with the teams! ELECTRIC SERVICES 6/15/21 Alberto was very kind and professional! He arrived on time and went worked expeditiously, resolving our concerns. TOTAL CARE PLAN Once you try one service, you'll be inclined to try more. I got the Total Care Package membership which seems like a hefty cost initially but if your home is as old as mine, it's bound to have issues and the annual services that come along with it pays for much of itself. There are also single membership plans for cooling, plumbing, or electrical if you didn't want the total plan. In addition to the services in the package; you get a discount on any services/products. They even provide a military/veteran discount and I will go out of my way to support any business who gives back our military community. Thanks CoolToday.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE . FOLLOWING THERE VAN/TRAILER ON 75 WHEN THERE FENDER BLEW OFF SMACKING MY TRUCK. SMASHED MY MIRROR INTO MY DOOR. CAUSED PAINT DAMAGE., BROKE THE MIRROR AND DENTED THE DOOR. I PULLED THEM OFF THE HIGHWAY TO GET NAMES AND SHOW THE DAMAGE. ALL I ASKED FOR WAS A NEW $50 MIRROR FROM AMAZON. I HAVE 7 KIDS AND XMAS WAS TIGHT. THEY WONT RETURN MY CALLS. NO ONE CARES. When they say today, they mean TODAY! It was very easy to request an estimate online but more impressive was how quickly they were at my home to prepare an estimate. I made my request at midnight and at 8am Daniel was here ready to prepare an estimate. By 10:30 work had begun and was completed the same day. Daniel, Miroslav and Kevin were exceptional and efficient. No doubt that I will be using your services again soon especially with the TotalCare Today plan I purchased which, because of the 20% discount, entirely paid for itself already. Great Job!
