I have to say Cool Today is a great company, I own two properties. One of my properties. I first hired this company to do a new A/C unit. They did a fantastic job and a very reasonable price. Ive had them out to service my other property a/c unit and Matt was prompted, friendly and very knowledgeable. He was quick to assess and determine the issue with the a/c unit. Determined condensate line was blocked. Cleared line. Probably 15 minutes of work plus travel. In future condo meet will clear line for FREE. Cool Today has done good deals such as a maintenance contract but this simple fix and amount of time was far less time consuming than the 2 annual PM inspections which are at a lower cost in total for two annually. With this service call problem fixed but at seemingly way high charge. Service quality is high - cost extreme

Returned to Florida after a few months away and the Cool Today AC system wouldn’t turn on. One call and a service man was on the way. He quickly diagnosed the issue and called service headquarters.They sent a specialist out to fix the issue that was the result of a retrofitted installation which was unique to our system. Recently had a landscaping contractor employee hit my outside A/C condenser unit with a lawn mower causing considerable damage. Cool Today technician Quadrea Bain came out right away to get the condenser running again by replacing some of the suction line copper piping that was severely crimped. He also gave me a detailed estimate to replace the condenser coil which was also damaged. Quadrea replaced the condenser coil which is a complicated repair requiring cutting out the old coil and then brazing in the new one. This repair was completed in 4 hours. Quadrea is highly skilled, explains what he is doing and why. I am going to ask for him on any future repairs.

So I had the technician Armando come out and service my unit as part of my service plan. Very nice gentleman seemed pretty thorough pointed out a few issues to me. I don’t think he tested the heat out. However, when he was testing outside unit, he must’ve forgotten to put a wire back on. Because about two hours after he left, the house was not cooling off at all. So I went outside while the air-conditioning inside was running the outside unit was not running at all. So I called and they sent another tech technician out that night. His name was Dean. Very nice gentleman. He went over to the outside unit took the panel off and found that there was a wire that was not connected back that Armando took off. That must’ve shorted the system out. He tried several attempts and several things to get us Up and running, but he could not. He determined that the wire that was loose burnt out the compress System. He stated after speaking to his supervisor that they would come back the next day and replaced the compressor. I don’t remember a gentleman‘s name that came out here, but he was extremely nice as well. He did a great job and after he left, my air conditioner has been working fine. One of the reasons why I have Cool Today come out and service. My unit is because I’ve never had an issue with the Service technicians. And they stand behind their work. Replacing the compressor at no charge was one of the many things that they stand behind. They realized it was their mistake and they took care of it. I never hesitate to call them or recommend Cool Today to anyone I know.

Ronnie Barnes (technician) did a 5-star job diagnosing and locating a refrigerant leak that caused our 3-year old Lennox AC system to shut down, but I was not amused to find out that it will cost over $2,000 to replace the valve that is leaking refrigerant.

Technician stated I needed 2 new float switches without testing them (just said if the system didn’t shut off when inverted they were both bad). Tried to charge us $235 to repair it. I found them for $30 online so we declined. I then tested the floats with a multimeter when the technician left and both were fine and the system is working fine. Made us question the second part he “diagnosed” and said was “failing” (capacitor on the outside unit for $303). Complained to the company via email and they still haven’t contacted us other than reply to verify service date and address in their response. Seems like the technicians are getting commissions for parts sales! May have to look elsewhere for maintenance after 16 years with Cool Today!

Charged me $500 for a capacitor, and maintenance membership. Never came back because they can't schedule properly and they showed up while I was working about 5 separate times. Never actually fixed my unit and quoted me $3000 for something another licensed professional did for $450.

Long story short...most things the Technician said were BS! Main thing he said I needed a new Fan Motor since my heat didn't work. That would have been close to $2,000 with tax and labor. I called a local A/C guy while he was here to have him come over. So Mike turned on the A/C and it came on. Wow, why didn't the Cool Today Tech try that??? So, all I need is a heating connection replaced that will be around $200, instead of $2,000! I'm sorry that I contracted with this company as well as having three of my Customers switch over to them! Bummer ir was.

Had no A/C as I left for work. Friend suggested I contact Cool Today. They have a great Customer Service department that got me scheduled for an appointment later that day. The technician, Kyle, called ahead to say he was on his way. He resolved the issue, had to replace a part, and then recommended I sign up for their annual service contract which saved me money and the peace of mind of having regular service for my A/C system. He was great and they are a professionally run company. They offer A/C, Plumbing and electrical repairs. They’re coming back this am to take care of an electrical issue. Prices are reasonable and they have great technicians. Friendly and polite.

Ronnie, our technician, was absolutely brilliant. He diagnosed the issue within seconds — it turned out to be the only thing we hadn’t already tried troubleshooting. I wouldn't post a review, but Cool Today keeps pushing. CURRENT PROBLEM, in my daughter's condo. On the pro side, I was able to get a service call promptly to address a leaking HVAC unit. On the con side, eight days later I have to schedule another service call because the unit is pushing warm air. Prompt scheduling again, but two calls in less than two weeks. LAST REVIEW, which didn't post. HVAC maintenance in my house. Cool Today keep sbugging me for a review. Well, here it is. I find the technicians competent and polite. The scheduling, on the other hand, is a nightmare. I believe the company is understaffed. I got a maintenance appointment, arranged to be home during a 4 hour window--and in the middle I got a call that the tech had an emergency and couldn't come. No one else could? Cool Today promised that I wouldn't be cut off again. I rescheduled, arranged to be home during a 12-6 window, and at 5:55pm the tech showed up for a service that takes about an hour and a half. What? I had dinner plans. So we rescheduled again, a 4 hour window; the tech promised I'd be first. Again, 5 minutes before the window closed, Cool Today showed up. I spent about 15 hours waiting for this call.

I don’t leave a lot of negative reviews because I think everybody has good and bad days however… I bought a new house and figured I’d have cool today come out since There was some water pooling on my 1st floor unit. They did come out quickly and did a basic cleaning of the drip lines. Their “Technician” Said our upstairs unit is 12 years old, and low on coolant. He said it’s working now, but will probably stop working within the month. He said these units are so old that doing that process might actually break them so he recommended 2 new units to the tune of 16K. I just Purchased this home that passed inspection so I very surprised about that recommendation. A few days after the technician came out , all of a sudden my capacitor stopped working… I call that suspicious, but hey coincidences happen. My father-in-law suggested using Parrish AC for a second look. They came out the next day, took a look at my AC units and said Your coolant levels are fine and the units you have are out of warranty, but they’re very sturdy and looking in good condition. I asked, how much do I owe you? And his reply surprised me. You don’t owe me anything just to take a look, but if you ever do need actual work done keep us in mind. I will only use them going forward! But this isn’t a review about them… I understand recommendations aren’t necessarily always bottom of the line or cheapest solutions But here I am three months later with no extra work done and my AC is blowing at 68° through a Florida summer! Cool Today, politely GFY… Hopefully this was a one time thing and they aren’t ripping off older folks for thousands of dollars.

We live in a 3 story townhome with zoned heating and cooling. We were experiencing uneven cooling particularly on our first floor. We also were experiencing a 100% increase in our FP&L bills for the past several months. I scheduled an appointment with Cool Today (our regular AC/Electrical/Plumbing provider) and they sent an EXCELLENT AC Technician (Ahmed) that same day. Ahmed diagnosed the problem - a faulty damper operating for our first floor and low Freon in our compressor. He came back the next day as promised and replaced both problem parts. Ahmed took us through his meticulous documentation of his before and after repair and demonstrated how the fix was in and working properly. The best repair work I have ever experienced. I highly recommend Cool Today and Ahmed in particular. Well done!

I had a pretty disappointing experience with Cool Today. Michelle in the office was so pleasant and helpful in getting me scheduled, but unfortunately the technician was not as great. Quadrea Bain came out and replaced the capacitor on my unit, then told me my compressor was failing and that I shouldn't run the system. He immediately started calling the parts department, pushing financing, and contacting the office to sort out payment before I even had a chance to think. When I told him I wanted to get a second opinion and would not be purchasing the compressor, he left visibly upset and clearly frustrated. I later had another company inspect the unit, and their technician confirmed the compressor was working fine and that the system simply needed a good cleaning. They also discovered the unit is still under manufacturer warranty, which Cool Today never checked or mentioned. I felt rushed and pressured into an unnecessary and costly repair. I expected much more honesty and professionalism from a company with this kind of reputation.

First off, our tech Angel was FANTASTIC on both visits. This rating does not reflect his work, but the dispatch and customer service teams really failed during our last interaction with this company. Our AC failed on Monday and Angel was out on Tuesday to assess the issue and told us they needed to order a part and it would be 3 days - no big deal. I got a call from dispatch on Thursday to let me know the part was in and Angel would be out on Friday between 12-4 - we were going to be his second call of the day. Friday comes and it’s 3:30p with no word of an update so I call customer service to get an ETA and I’m told the tech is finishing up his current call and I’ll get a call from him in 10-15 minutes with and ETA. 5:45p I call again and explain that I’m looking for an update and customer service just told me they would have someone call me back. A dispatcher calls 20ish minutes later and says to the new time frame is 8-11pm. I express my frustration that we were told 12-4 and heard nothing from anyone and that this lack of communication was unacceptable. Dispatcher claims that they were going push us ahead, but Angel didn’t arrive until 8pm. Again, Angel was AWESOME. The lack of proactive communication was a major black eye that Cool Today could have avoided.

Pros: available nearly 24/7, everyone I worked with was friendly. Cons: Not sure how qualified their techs are, at least the ones we had. First visit, the tech leaves after 3 hours, saying he needs to order a part or replace a wire and he'll be back the next day. Next day, a different tech comes out and says I need to replace several parts, and 'that's 100% the issue', not the thermostat or the wire. $600+ and a couple hours later, the tech leaves. An hour after the tech leaves, the thermostat goes blank and the AC turns off. Next day, the same tech comes out and says 'it's your humidistat, I see this a lot, I'm going to unplug it.' So now I have no working humidistat or recommendation to get it working, and I replaced $600 worth of parts I'm not sure I needed to replace.

5 Stars – Exceptional Service with Heart and Integrity We had an incredibly positive experience with Cool Today Park Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical from start to finish. When our air conditioner suddenly stopped working on a Saturday, they had someone at our home within two hours of calling — and we weren’t even charged for an emergency visit, which was a pleasant surprise. One thing I really appreciated was their thoughtful safety features — we received real-time text updates with the technician’s estimated arrival time, his name, and a photo. It made the experience feel safe, transparent, and caring right from the start. Our technician, Anthony Baldwin, was absolutely outstanding. He was kind, professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly empathetic to our situation. When the manufacturer delayed the part we needed to fix our AC, Anthony took it upon himself to drive to a supplier and get the part personally — something he clearly did out of the kindness of his heart. The AC unit all of a sudden stopped working. The NEST thermostat in the photo ls what I was told had to be replaced for $379 with an unknown thermostat. But then they said the wiring had to be replaced at the condenser unit. So a 6 foot piece Of fully accessible thermostat wire was $279 For something that cost about five dollars at most. Then they said there was a bad capacitor, that was another $279, first of all there was nothing wrong with the Capacitor because the Condenser fan was running fine before they got there. Anyway, I didn’t want argue with them. So I paid it. The repair men have now become Salesman that get commission on everything they replace. Big scam!

My HVAC stopped cooling last night. Today, Gavin quickly found a flare fitting that was leaking. He remade it to fix this leak. He explained the repair process and showed me a video of the leak. My air conditioning was working in my home but making a loud noise so I called to see if someone could check it out. The tech looked at the manufacturer date and said we needed a new one without ever assessing it. He said to repair it would be $8,500 and that it would be cheaper to just get a new one. The next day a sales man came and gave us a quote of $16,000 for a new one, this was bare minimum without any extras which they recommended we do extras (duct work, new lines, etc). We ended up calling another company and they gave us a quote of $1k to repair and $11k with extras to replace. The people were at least friendly but I would not recommend this company

After 30 minutes diagnostics on my Cooling System, the Technician is telling me that my Condenser Contactor need to be replaced. He tells me the cost is $375. Holy moly!! I was shocked to find out that a $20 Contactor (checked on Amazon ) is going to cost me $375!! Wow!! No Thanks!! Also, this service call which was a so called special from Home Depot was supposed to cost me $29.99 not $59.99! I paid it!! But I think it is false advertising! Overall, not a pleasant experience!

The A/C technician Joseph Robinson was at my house within 1 hour of calling for assistance fixing my A/C unit. Joseph was very efficient and checked my whole system and fixed the wires to my sending unit. Since this system is very old he conducted an analysis and determined that the system will need to he replaced in the near future. I would highly recommend CoolToday for service in the future . Had plumber out to evaluate shower faucet that was not working. He said we needed a complete new faucet and quoted 1800.00$ to replace the faucet and the shower is plastic easy access in wall behind it from closet. We went to lowes and purchased a new knob and cartridge took 30mins to change out and it was less than 50$! Why he said it was a 1800$ job i have no idea but it was the most absurd price for a simple fix that wasn't even the issue! Beware. He also didn't even have the part on his truck to even repair if we did want it repaired and said they couldn't come back have until Monday to get it fixed!

I am getting additional estimates.

Beware of CoolIt Today ‼️We called cool it today as our heat seamed to be not working and had a person come out named Donald and he quoted us $2800 to rewire our air-conditioning system to our thermostat. Said we needed to rewire out thermostat in our house is not a brand new house so I questioned how could this have happened? How do the wires change? He didn’t really have an answer for that said sometimes that happens. He made it so that the heat would at least come on which went out about two hours later. I called back and they wanted to charge me again to come out for emergency service which we had already paid them. I did not do that. I called someone else they came out in the morning. It cost $99 to fix it. there was nothing wrong with the wires as a total scam on coolit today ‼️‼️‼️consider this absolutely theft. Feel bad that someone else may have not gotten a second opinion. And would’ve paid that for nothing .. this is such an upsetting situation to have happened. Please be aware of cool it today that they work on commission basis so if you have a problem they’re gonna give you the most expensive option to fix it. Something that really cost the call from another company they tried to sell me new wiring. Which it did not need at all.

Our air conditioner stopped working and we thought it was a simple electrical problem; we called CoolToday and they agreed to come out right away. It turned out that our drain hose had stopped up and we had over 60 gallons of water trapped under the system. Brice, the technician, was very efficient and knowledgeable, he worked for hours to remove the water and fix the unit. Price was reasonable and unit works great. We feel very lucky to have CoolToday as a local vendor.

I manage several vacation rental properties that were severely impacted by hurricane Helene. Two out of five properties in the same complex had no air conditioning. One of them had a service contract with Cool Today, I called them earlier in the morning and they sent a technician out the same day. The other property that was having an AC issue had a different company, i contacted them and they sent a technician out as well. lThey told me that the whole system needed to be replaced to the tune of about $8000. When Omar came from Cool Today to service the rental property they had the cool Today maintenance contract, i asked him if he would please give me a second opinion. Beyond thankful for Adam’s work, help and patience today!!! There was a slight battle yesterday between a weed whip and the power to the ac unit… let’s just say the weed whip won! I tried to consult Dr. Google to perform the surgery and after hours of tried and failed attempts, I unfortunately had no luck. Adam waited close to an hour for me to get home from school as he watched my dogs panting in anticipation for any slight breeze. Adam found the issue within about 30 minutes or less and charged for a simple service call as there was really nothing that needed repair. Thankful for the air and lesson learned! Reason I did 2 stars was the plumber that came the following day refused to work on my bathroom and I mentioned the sink and tub wouldn’t drain. After calling several companies and one of them not even showing up to the scheduled appointment, I decided to call Cool Today and I was immediately content with the customer service. I’m sorry I don’t remember her name but the receptionist was so helpful and got us the help we needed right away. She assured us she would send a tech as soon as possible as we were without air and she sure did. 10 min later we had a confirmation our tech was on the way. Sam showed up and was nothing but efficient. He got straight to the point which it’s what we needed. He was extremely sweet and funny which also helped the situation. Great company very professional!! Easy to make appointment online Had a question after hours and got a call back almost immediately. Tech was very polite and called ahead before arriving on time. I wasn’t home so he stayed in touch with me to let me know what he discovered. Took pictures and I was able to pay over the phone, very efficient. The problem turned out to be simple, a connection only needed to be tightened. Another company had not competently installed my new system and Freon leaked out slowly over the 3 years since it was Installed culminating in today’s visit. My only complaint is the price of Freon ….it’s obviously made in the heavens by the gods who use bits of gold and lovingly bottle it in semi precious jeweled jars then only send it down to earth once in a blue moon in small batches...because it cost me $600 for 4 lbs.

Came home to a hot house! My app didn’t notify me that I had a problem. So I gave Cool Today a call. My best friend uses them and I thought I’d give them a try, since I was definitely in need of service. They responded the next day and came to find they needed to order a motor. It was replaced and now I’m cool again. Everyone I dealt with, from the repair person on the job to the people that I called were so friendly and helpful. They made me feel like they wanted to help as soon as they could. I will definitely be using them for my check ups on a regular basis now!

Again, Cool Today tried to take advantage of my elderly father in law.The tech said the saftey float switch is bad, along with the U.V. light.Yes the float switch is bad,, but the U.V. light is glowing bright. Asked if the older trustworthy tech was available, they said.. they didnt know, or have the ability to see if he was. I have the pictures of the bad float switch, and WORKING U.V. light. Will try and post next.
