I have to say Cool Today is a great company, I own two properties. One of my properties. I first hired this company to do a new A/C unit. They did a fantastic job and a very reasonable price. Ive had them out to service my other property a/c unit and Matt was prompted, friendly and very knowledgeable. He was quick to assess and determine the issue with the a/c unit. We called for A plumbing issue. Our cartridge for the Moen faucet went bad and broke. We were able to get a person out here same day and even earlier because they called and said they had a technician available. E. Rodriguez was very prompt and very polite and knew what he was doing. He was able to get the job done and even cleaned up after himself, over and above, thank you.

I’ve used Cool Today for a variety of services at my home in Sarasota including A/C, Electrical and Plumbing. They helped me with a kitchen remodeling project where I put in an island with a gas range. Most recently, they came out to service my LG mini-split A/C cleaning the filters and treating the coils on all 5 headend units in my house. Jake was the technician. He arrived on time, was thorough in his work and pleasant to work with. He kept me informed of his progress while he worked and explained everything as he completed the maintenance of my systems. He presented me with some preventative options I could consider pointing out a potential issue with these systems, if not properly maintained. He wasn’t pushy about it but gave me the good and the bad side to consider. I strongly recommend using Cool Today for anyone needing assistance with plumbing, electrical or A/C issues. They are pretty fair when it comes to price and do a good job addressing these issues.

Roman was my Technician he began by telling how the hot water tank functions. Explained he would do to analyze issue of no hot water. We concluded putting in a new tank, this one is 12 years old. He explained what needed to change which was minimal, a tank and couple of new pex tubes, following draining the tank. Installation was quick and clean. He explained warranty and future care. I let Oman work in my home anytime.

Update 1/1/26: Increasing to 4 stars. Latest service call was excellent. Juan was very polite, knowledgeable and helpful with his advice. He completed the maintenance work professionally. Very satisfied. July 2025: In general I've been happy with Cool Today, but it's a large company so each time we often have a different technician. This time, the technician was, as usual, very polite and nice but I was a bit disappointed in that he reinstalled the lattice to the AC unit crooked and incomplete to where I had to add 4 additional screws to properly secure it. Plus, I did not receive a detailed evaluation of the AC status like I did in the past. Finally, my wife heard him on the call asking for further instructions on how to make the repair that he said I needed. Not exactly a confidence builder.

I decided to walk into Cool Today after seeing those greenish Cool Today trucks everywhere in Sarasota to discuss updating my heating and air conditioning system. I was met by Jimmy Mullen who explained his background with the company and company business model. Jimmy answered all my questions so we agreed for him to come to my home to perform a free energy audit and make a recommendation on a heating system. I choose the energy Star Rated 3.5 Ton Rheem/Ruud 2 stage heat pump. The next day, the installer Paul called me and provided an arrival time to begin the installation. The company actually had sent a link to me so that I could track where Paul was as he made his way to my home. Paul told me that had discussed the work with Jimmy the prior afternoon and Paul discussed the work to be done clearly with me in a very professional manner. I also found Paul to be very knowledgeable of what needed to be done. Right after, Paul and his coworker got busy removing the 8 year old gas furnace and the outside air conditioner. I asked Paul for an approximate time to complete the installation. He estimated around 03:30pm including the installation and setup of a new WI-FI thermostat. The installation is better than what I expected and Paul and his coworker completed the work at 03:25pm….. very impressive. The installation is very clean looking, with no exposed wires (see photos). Overall, I am very happy with the cost of the equipment and the professional installation. The Guarantee provided by Cool Today is far and above any guarantee I have ever read. Thanks to Jimmy, Paul, his coworker, and the staff at Cool Today for making the installation go smoothly.

The plumbing tech arrived here just before nighttime and temporarily fixed the back flow valve that was leaking badly so I had water for the night. He was back the next day and replaced the valve with a new one. He was so good that I had him come back on Monday morning to fix/replace the main valve where the water enters the house. Also replaced the garbage disposal which had not been working for a couple of years. The whole time he was courteous, respectful, and was able to answer all of my questions while taking care of the jobs at hand. The experience with Cool Today was 5-star. Phil who came out for the estimate to replace the AC was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We felt comfortable with the estimate and the guarantee of no additional charges. This was complete replacement that entailed removing a pancake air handler unit in a tight attic space and moving it to an adjacent linen closet requiring rerouting of some of the ducting. I had an estimate before he left the property. The installer was David along with another worker. They were able to work through some challenges removing the old air handler to get to the wiring and piping. They arrived at 8:30 AM and were done around 3:30 PM. They were professional and courteous and left the property clean when they left. These guys are pros and it shows. The new unit is working great.

Not good, said they would call nite before, didnt. Said theyd call 30-45 min ahead..called 20 min ahead then late. Took forever, appeared as though tech was new, didnt know how to do. Finally decided a part needed replacing and in the mean time, took 20 to go give another tech a part! Was very slow, took almost 3 hrs. Get training elsewhere with another tech or having to call in. Tech ended up apologizing..

We live in a 3 story townhome with zoned heating and cooling. We were experiencing uneven cooling particularly on our first floor. We also were experiencing a 100% increase in our FP&L bills for the past several months. I scheduled an appointment with Cool Today (our regular AC/Electrical/Plumbing provider) and they sent an EXCELLENT AC Technician (Ahmed) that same day. Ahmed diagnosed the problem - a faulty damper operating for our first floor and low Freon in our compressor. He came back the next day as promised and replaced both problem parts. Ahmed took us through his meticulous documentation of his before and after repair and demonstrated how the fix was in and working properly. The best repair work I have ever experienced. I highly recommend Cool Today and Ahmed in particular. Well done!

Update July 29th: After a frustrating day of miscommunication a could weeks ago, a manager called to see how they could make things right. They came back out to provide another service recommended by the technician to make up for all the issues earlier. I also highly recommend requesting Steven Briggs as your technician. He's extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and efficient. July 16th: The actual service was fine, but scheduling and having a technician around when requested was not. Due to circumstances out of my control, my 4-8 window was an issue because I want going to be home until after 5. I called and spoke to someone who put a note in the system to make me the last call of the day from 6-8pm. At 1:30pm, I received a phone call from the technician saying he could be at my house in 30 minutes. This was obviously not going to work for me. After talking with the technician and explaining that I would not be available until after 5, he said he'd discuss it with dispatch and either they'd have to reschedule me or they'd send a different technician out at my requested 6-8 time frame. He said they were putting him on another call and someone would come out to my house later today, or if I preferred to reschedule I could do that. Around 4:15, I received a text message saying the technician was on his way. This would put him at my house before the 6pm time frame. I was not home yet. I called Cool Today to let them know this, and they said the technician was 35 minutes away around 4:30. I had to quickly leave work and try to make it there in time. The person on the phone said the tracker showed the technician 35 minutes away. Only 5 minutes after hanging up the phone the technician called to say he was at my house. So the tracker was incorrect and they arrived when I was not going to be home. Normally, I'd be thrilled for them to come early, but I made a specific request due to my schedule to come at the end of their day. Very disappointed as a member at these major miscommunicated and the many interrupting phone calls while I was working.

We have been down here for two years from up NORT Wisconsin, and have been running a portable dehumidifier all summer both years. Joseph was very efficient and checked my whole system and fixed the wires to my sending unit. We made an appointment for Plumbing Today to properly install the faucets for 4 new sinks, attach an existing garbage disposal unit, and replace 2 toilets. Jonathan and his brother came over to install a new A/C unit at our house and were super happy with every aspect of the installation. They arrived on time, went through what they were going to do and started working. I checked in on them every so often to see how it was going and both of them were super nice and explained everything they were doing along the way. I am a perfectionist and these two didn’t let me down at all. They went about their work professionally and kept the area clean. When they were done they made sure I understood how to change the filter and set up the thermostat. They cleaned up everything in the house and my garage nicer than when they arrived. We picked Cool Today to perform our duct cleaning because of positive reviews in the neighborhood, and their (5) star rating in the Sarasota County Homeowner Referral Guidebook. We did have to wait some time to receive an estimate, but when Mitchell came we were impressed with his thoroughness and professional approach. We decide to go with Cool Today. The job is now completed. Cody and Dave were very thorough, the job took approx. (4) hours. Everything appeared spotless afterwards, with before/after pics provided. We would definitely recommend Cool Today for duct cleaning, not sure how they could do better.

We've had GREAT experiences with Cool Today, specifically Agbor. He's a thorough, detailed, friendly, and professional technician. He works hard, and we trust his insight. The customer service team is friendly, too. However, we didn't have a good experience with the 24/7 service line. It's not a true "24/7 service." Overall, we recommend Cool Today.

Jordan, my tech, called prior to his arrival and was even a little early for the appointed time. He was courteous and professional. He did my A/C check and alerted me to an issue that may eventually arise and offered to take care of it immediately. I opted to wait until the next PM in 6 months and he didn’t try to pressure me into doing it today which also impressed me. When he completed the job and left there was no evidence of his visit even though he had to go in my attic. I am very pleased with the service and value provided in the Complete plan that I purchased. I highly recommend

My AC went out at 8. I called and Sylvia took my request. She was friendly and professional. Taylor took my appointment. He called before he showed up and took care of everything. He was incredibly friendly and professional. He gave me some recommendations for the work I will need but showed pictures to justify what he said. He was efficient, fast, and very polite. A great experience for an emergency repair. Will definitely use again Okay — so I was quoted $1600 for a coil cleaning. Schwartz air quoted me $880. I thought Taylor was great but this company was almost twice the cost. Go with Schwartz air.

Bryan is very professional and explained the issues with my ac unit in details so I can understand and I will be using this company again thank you very much Bryan. Joseph came to my house to install my new ac unit and went above and beyond with installing my system where the old unit was located at it was so uncomfortable to get to unit in but Joseph and his helper did and they did an awesome job 👍 I would recommend Cool today to anyone thank you very much for your help.
